New Zealand recorded its biggest ODI World Cup total when it posted 401 against Pakistan at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday. It was also the Black Caps’ second biggest total in One-Day International cricket. Their highest is 402 for two against Ireand at Aberdeen in 2008.

It is the sixth best total in World Cups and is also the highest total ever recorded in ODIs in Bengaluru. India’s 383 for six against Australia in 2013 was previously the biggest ODI total at the venue.

New Zealand’s previous best total in a World Cup game was 393 for six against West Indies at Wellington in 2015.
