World Cup: ICC Anti-Corruption Unit's dos and don'ts for players

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 gets underway in England from May 30.

With the World Cup getting underway in England from May 30, the Anti-Corruption Unit has sprung into action  to prevent any foul play in the showpiece event.

Here are the seven codes of conduct the players are expected to follow:

 1. Stay away from interacting or engaging in any form of association with strangers/lesser-known people.

 2. Do not accept gifts or services or favours from any individual or group which has a value of US$750 or more.

 3. Stay away from revealing team secrets to any person who may otherwise appear friendly.

 4. Inform the team manager and the ACU officer deputed with the team immediately in case of any approach or offers.

 5. The match officials should immediately alert the ICC ACU in case they notice any dubious action or activity involving players or other members of any team.

 6. Download the ICC Integrity App on your phones for easy alerts and updates during the tournament.

 7. Do not disclose team composition or other internal issues with unknown or little-known people or fans.
