Rohit Sharma achieved a milestone during India's second match at World Cup 2019 by becoming the second Indian batsman after Sachin Tendulkar (3077) to score 2000 ODI runs against Australia on Sunday.
He also took the record away from Tendulkar by becoming the quickest (37 innings) to 2000 runs against any particular team. Tendulkar took 40 innings against Australia, followed by Viv Richards (44 vs AUS), Virat Kohli (44 vs SL) and M.S. Dhoni (45 vs SL).
