Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan continued his good form in the 2019 ICC World Cup by scoring 64 off 77 with six fours. He was his side's top-scorer in this game as well. Shakib ends the tournament with 606 runs, which includes two hundreds and five fifties, and 11 wickets, including a five-wicket haul against Afghanistan, in eight matches. 19-year-old left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi ended the game with figures of 6 for 35, the best for a Pakistan bowler at the World Cup, in 9.1 overs. He took the wickets of Tamim Iqbal, Shakib, Liton Das, Mahmudullah and Saifuddin and was adjudged the player of the match.
