The third T20I between India and Bangladesh in Hyderabad saw several records shattered, with India posting a commanding 297 for six in the first innings.

Having already secured the series in New Delhi on Wednesday, India chose to bat first. Despite losing opener Abhishek Sharma early, Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav propelled the team to a blistering start, recording India’s joint-highest PowerPlay score in T20Is (83).

Samson went on to score his maiden T20I century in just 40 balls, making him the second-fastest Indian to achieve the feat, behind Rohit Sharma. The duo also notched up India’s second-highest second-wicket partnership with a stand of 173 runs.
