India beats Pakistan to win Blind Cricket World Cup

India defeated Pakistan by 2 wickets to clinch the Blind Cricket World Cup on Saturday. After Pakistan posted 308-8 in 40 overs, India reached home losing eight wickets in 38.2 overs.

Sunil Ramesh scored 93 while Ajay Reddy hammered a knock of 62 to guide India to win.

India defeated Pakistan by 2 wickets to clinch the Blind Cricket World Cup on Saturday. After Pakistan posted 308-8 in 40 overs, India reached home losing eight wickets in 38.2 overs. Sunil Ramesh scored 93 while Ajay Reddy hammered a knock of 62.

Earlier, India continued its rich vein of form as it defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets at the MCC Ground in Ajman to book its place in the finals of the fifth edition of the tournament.

Pakistan, on the other hand, had qualified for the finals after thrashing Sri Lanka by 156 runs in the semifinals of the tournament on Wednesday.

India had already beaten their arch-rival Pakistan by seven wickets in the group stages.
