India clinches top spot in ODIs after series win

India, with 120 rating points, lead South Africa by a point in the rankings table. Australia, with 114 points, sits third.

India won its sixth straight bilateral ODI series in Indore.

A series-clinching five-wicket win against Australia in Indore on Sunday boosted India to the top spot in the ICC ODI rankings.

This means that India is at the top of Test and ODI rankings.

Before the series began, India (now at 120 ratings) was two points behind South Africa.

Australia, meanwhile, is at third with 114 ratings.

 

Indian skipper Virat Kohli with 887 points continues to top the ODI rankings for batsmen.
