INDIA BEAT SRI LANKA BY SIX WICKETS TO SWEEP SERIES 3-0

IND 148/4 in 16.5 overs: Kumara starts off with a wide down leg. Just ten more needed for India for the series sweep and a record-equalling 12th consecutive T20I win.

FOUR! Slow, on a length, drifting down leg and Jadeja pulls it away fine for four more. Fuller one on off and dug out to long on for one. Five more needed. Another wristy flick by Shreyas for one to deep mid wicket. That's 200 runs for Shreyas in the series. Whipped away by Jadeja for a single at square leg.

FOUR! India win! Shreyas tucks this full delivery on middle and leg to the mid wicket boundary. India sweeps the series 3-0 and equals the record for most consecutive T20I wins with its 12th victory on the trot.

IND 136/4 in 16 overs: Fernando bowls out. FOUR! Short on middle and Jadeja swivels and pulls it fine four a boundary. Short again and pulled flatter to mid wicket for one. Another short one, slow and Shreyas pulls in front of square for a couple more. FOUR! Wide and full outside off, Shreyas jams his bat at it and gets a boundary at fine leg again. Another pull, at deep mid wicket, for a single. Tucked away by Jadeja for one on the leg side.

IND 123/4 in 15 overs: Karunaratne with the ball. Four singles off the first four balls. The equation is down to 27 off 32 balls and Shreyas and Jadeja are content nudging the singles around. Another single and a brace to end the over.

IND 116/4 in 14 overs: Shreyas slashes hard outside off and it is too wide of a leaping point; just one. FOUR! Deftly done by Jadeja. Late cut with open face and it runs between behind square and third man. Next one nips into him and he misses, collecting a leg-bye. Shreyas dabs to third man for one more. Big bouncer and called wide for height. Punched to third man with open face for a single and Jadeja keeps strike.

IND 107/4 in 13 overs: OUT! Venkatesh holes out at deep square leg, trying to pull a short and slow one from Kumara. Shreyas collects one at long on. Jadeja on strike. Wide down leg side. Driven next ball to long on for one more. Thick inside edge to mid wicket and one more for Shreyas.

IND 102/3 in 12 overs: SIX! Shreyas walks down the pitch and flicks this one from Vandersay over mid wicket for a maximum. Third consecutive half-century for him in the series. Vandersay seems to have twisted his ankle during the release as is struggling now. Sri Lanka wouldn't want to lose another bowler. Shanaka is already off the field. Vandersay is walking back to the pavillion. Karunaratne will complete the over. Shreyas pulls this one in front for one. Venkatesh drives on the up to mid off for one more. Hundred up for India. Slapped away over covers off the backfoot for one. Not much timing on it. Dot to finish.

IND 93/3 in 11 overs: Kumara is back after an expensive first over. Slower one and full on off stump, Shreyas swats it to long on for one. Hooda pulls this short one behind square for one more. OUT! Hooda is bowled. Vicious yorker, Hooda was looking to flick it fine and missed. Deepak Hooda b Lahiru Kumara 21(16b 1x4 1x6). FOUR! Venkatesh pulls his delivery to the long on boundary. Was a bit rushed into the shot but enough bat on it to fetch the boundary.

IND 86/2 in 10 overs: Vandersay into his second. SIX! Gorgeous! Tossed up outside off and Hooda gets on one knee and hoicks this over deep extra cover for a maximum. Hooda gloves this one to the keeper but a very tough chance. Driven again through extra cover for a couple. Good running between the wickets.

IND 76/2 in 9 overs: Karunaratne continues. Driven by Hooda to mid on for one. Shreyas back on strike. Punched off the backfoot through cover for a couple. FOUR! Slow and low full-toss, drifted onto the pads and Shreyas almost sweeps it to the fine leg boundary. He is ten runs away from a third consecutive T20I ffity. FOUR! Outrageous! Short-pitched and Hooda executes the ramp to perfection to fetch a boundary behind the keeper. Single at long on to finish.

IND 63/2 in 8 overs: Spinner Vandersay to bowl. Spinning into the pads and Shreyas turns it away on leg for one. Yorker almost, on middle, and one more for Hooda with a flick through mid wicket. Tossed up, slower in the air, and Shreyas tucks it behind square leg for one. Leg break on off stump, stays low and Hooda fends it back. Whips the next one away to deep mid wicket for a single. FOUR! Over-pitched on middle and Shreyas thumps it down the ground to fetch four.

IND 55/2 in 7 overs: Karunaratne into the attack. FOUR! Back of length outside off and Samson caresses this with grace behind point. OUT! Moved away from a fuller length and Samson nicks it to the keeper. Hooda the new man in. Straight on the stumps worked away to mid wicket for one. One more for Shreyas at backward point. Two to end the over as Hooda whips it to deep square.

IND 47/1 in 6 overs: Fernando to Shreyas. Punched off the backfoot to square leg for a single. FOUR! Wide full-toss outside off and Samson throws his bat and finds the boundary at third man. Length ball, angling in on leg stump, and whipped away by Samson for one. FOUR! Strayed on the pads and effortlessly clipped to the fine leg rope. Pace off, angling away on off, and Shreyas is beaten trying to flat-bat it on the off.

IND 37/1 in 5 overs: First ball single by Samson at mid on. Full, yorker length almost, on Shreyas' toes and he defends it to mid on for one more. Bouncer and called Wide for height. Samson flicks this one to short fine leg for just a single. Asalanka is the captain on the field as Shanaka has left the field because of a blow to his finger trying to take Rohit's catch at mid off. Samson is beaten with one that nips in from a length. FOUR! Samson picks this up serenely over mid on.

IND 28/1 in 4 overs: Kumara into the attack. Length on off stump and Samson hops back and taps on leg for a quick single. FOUR! Audacious! Shreyas made room outside off and slapped this short one to the third man fence. FOUR! Full outside off and crisply driven through the covers for one more boundary. Length outside off and tapped straight to point. Kumara errs onto the pads and Shreyas whips it to deep squae leg for two. Good effort in the deep by Nissanka. FOUR! Similar ball, into the pads and this is driven squarer in front and four runs.

IND 13/1 in 3 overs: Fernando continues. Shreyas taps it back off the backfoot. Two singles. FOUR! Pitched up outside off and Shreyas leans into the drive, opens face of bat and runs it through cover region.

IND 7/1 in 2 overs: Chameera from the other end. Short, wide outside off and Rohit misses trying to go for the upper cut. Two dots follow. OUT! Rohit is done in with extra bounce. Gets it high on the bat trying to heave a length ball over mid off and ends up slicing it. Shreyas is in. Length ball on middle and off and outside edged to third man for one. Samson defends back to the bowler.

IND 6/0 in 1 over: Binura Fernando to Sanju Samson first ball. Over the wicket. Fullish outside off and Samson taps it to mid off on the front foot for one. Back of length and Rohit defends with soft hands and almost chops on. FOUR! Yorker, came back in, and Rohit whips it behind square. Backed out outside leg, looked to pull this short one, but ends up lobbing it to short fine. Jams his bat down to this yorker and straight back to the bowler. Just short! Rohit skipped down the wicket and drove on the up, almost handing to mid off.

Rohit Sharma and Sanju Samson make their way to the middle. Sri Lanka will need early wickets in order to defend this under-par score. Rohit and Samson meanwhile can take their time initially and settle in.

SRI LANKA 146/5 IN 20 OVERS

SL 146/5 in 20 overs: Pace off, 119 kmph by Harshal, close to off stump and Shanaka swings and misses. SIX! Slower length ball on middle stump and Shanaka picks it up over deep square leg for a maximum. Just the second of the innings. Full-toss on the stumps and two more at backward square leg. FOUR! Shanaka pulls this short one to fine leg. Slower bouncer to end the over.

IND 134/5 in 19 overs: FOUR! Low full-toss by Avesh and thumped down the ground. Jadeja and Hooda converge and leave the ball for the other as it runs away past the rope. Fifty up for Shanaka off just 29 balls. FOUR! Another boundary, slower one outside off, and cut away through covers. SIX! Another low full-toss on off stump and Shanaka whacks it over long on. Very wide again outside off and cuts behind point but the fielder cuts it in the deep, one run. Under-pressure Avesh revs in a wide outside off. Another low full-toss on the stumps and Karunaratne digs it out to long on for a single . A couple with an overthrow. Swing and miss outside off to end the over.

SL 115/5 in 18 overs: Bishnoi bowls out. Outside off, turning away a bit and driven for one. Two more singles. FOUR! Shanaka steps down and cracks it down the wicket for a boundary at long on. FOUR! Outside off and Shanaka opens his arms and and chips it over point for another four. Single to end the over.

SL 103/5 in 17 overs: Karunaratne shuffles across and pulls this length ball from Siraj behind square for one. A bit of initiative being shown by the batters. FOUR! Wide outside off and steered away by Shanaka behind point and to the third man fence. Yorker outside off and Shanaka jams his bat down too late. FOUR! Pace off this time, outside off again, and slashed through the covers for another boundary. Middle-stump yorker and tapped to mid on for a couple more. That brings up the hundred for Sri Lanka. Backs out on leg side, Siraj follows him and Shanaka pulls it in front of square for another two. Thirteen runs from the over.

SL 90/5 in 16 overs: Harshal to Shanaka. A gentle dab to point with open face and they hare for a single. Length on middle, top edge again and goes very high and Jadeja cannot get to it. Karunaratne survives. FOUR! Full on the pads and whipped away behind square for a boundary. FOUR-BYES! Seething bouncer, Karunaratne ducks under and it bursts through Samson's gloves to run away to the rope behind. Twelve runs from the over and that is the most productive over so far in the Lankan innings.

SL 78/5 in 15 overs: SL batters continue their struggles with picking Bishnoi's wrong'uns. Three singles and a leg-bye from the over. There is little benefit for Sri Lanka in continuing at this rate. Might as well go all guns blazing from here on to give at least something to bowl at.

SL 74/5 in 14 overs: Kuldeep bowls out. Shanaka collects a couple first ball with a backfoot punch through mid wicket and mid on. FOUR LEG-BYES! Turning in to Karunaratne, he misses the flick on the leg and it brushes the pad and runs away behind for a boundary. A brace to end the over. Shanaka sweeps fine again and a brilliant dive from Siraj saves a boundary.

SL 64/5 in 13 overs: OUT! Chandimal cuts outside off and hands it to Venkatesh at backward point. It was a loose ball from Harshal and Chandimal will be kicking himself. Dinesh Chandimal c Venkatesh Iyer b Harshal Patel 25(27b 2x4 0x60). Karunaratne is in at seven. A similar bowl outside off and Karunaratne cuts again, a bit aerial, but wide of point, for a couple. Four runs from the over and a wicket.

SL 60/4 in 12 overs: Shanaka sweeps Kuldeep again to fine leg and Siraj doesn't mess this one up; just a single. Chandimal presses forward and flicks through square leg for one more. Shanaka goes cheeky with a reverse-sweep but gets just one at deep point. FOUR! Chandimal goes on the backfoot, makes a bit of room outside off and drives this through the covers. Shreyas puts in a good effort in the deep but his leg touches the rope as he parries the ball back in.

SL 52/4 in 11 overs: FOUR! Bishnoi floats it up outside off and Chandimal leans into the drive and through the covers. This is driven again, down the ground, but just one. WIDE! Angling down leg side, wide ball. Three singles on the leg side to end the over.

SL 43/4 in 10 overs: Tossed up on leg stump and Chandimal sweeps it deftly behind the keeper and Rohit takes off from slip to the boundary and saves one; three runs. Loud appeal for stumping as Kuldeep deceives Chandimal with a wrong'un. Samson is confident but replay shows Chandimal had planted his foot in time. Two singles follow. FOUR! Swept away by Shanaka and a horror misfield by Siraj at fine leg to let it through for a boundary.

SL 34/4 in 19 overs: Bishnoi from the other end. First one is a quick and angling down leg, Chandimal flicks it for one. Two more for Liyanage in the deep in the off.OUT! Bowled him. Liyanage is gone. Trademark googly and the ball zips through the gap between the bat and body to clatter into the stumps. Shanaka in. Gets two with an insidge edge on the leg side. Wide ball going down leg next ball.

SL 26/3 in 18 overs: Kuldeep introduces spin. Over the wicket to Liyanage, A slip in place. Two singles from the over. Kuldeep keeps it tight, floating it up on middle and leg. Beats Chandimal with a wrong'un.

SL 24/3 in 7 overs : Harshal into the attack. Full on off and Liyanage flicks through mid wicket for one. Five singles from the over and a wide for height.

SL 18/3 in 6 overs: Avesh to bowl the last over of the PowerPlay. Chandimal collects one with a nudge to mid on. Another in-ducker off a length and just a leg-bye. Another bouncer next ball and Chandimal ducks under it with desperation. Two singles to end the over and what a start for India in the PowerPlay.

SL 14/3 in 5 overs: Siraj to bowl his third. Two dots for new batter Chandimal as Siraj keeps it on a length. Length again and pushed through the off side and Chandimal is off the mark with one after a some confusion in the middle that almost got him run out. Two more singles and a seething bouncer to end the over.

SL 11/3 in 4 overs: Avesh keeps the pressure on from the other end. Four dot balls to start with as Liyanage has trouble picking the lengths. Nipped into him and Liyanage pushes to mid off for a quick one. OUT! Length, angling across, and the extra bounce has Asalanka top-edging it very high trying to go big on the leg side. Samson pouches this skier. Charith Asalanka c Sanju Samson b Avesh Khan 4(6b 1x4 0x6).

SL 10/2 in 3 overs: Loud appeal first ball - Siraj to Liyanage - but turnd down. Rohit reviews the LBW appeal. It nipped in from just outside off and caught Liyanage flush above the knee roll on the front pad. Ball misses top of leg stump and India is one review down. Fuller outside off and tapped to mid off for a quick single. FOUR! Too full and too wide outside off and Asalanka swipes and chips it over the infield for four runs. Beaten! Going away from the left-hander with the angle and misses the outside edge by a whisker. Dug in shorter and Asalanka takes evasive action to this snorter. Another heave outside off, looking to drag it on the leg, and beaten.

SL 5/2 in 2 overs: Avesh Khan from the other end. Trickling down leg and Nissanka misses the flick down leg. A hopeful appeal for LBW but turned down. Beaten! Nissanka looks to come down the wicket to this back of length delivery but misses as it is too far on the off. FOUR! Jagged into Nissanka with pace and bounce and a lucky inside edge runs past the slip and to the boundary. OUT! Pitched up outside off, Nissanka loft is very high and Venkatesh takes a skier at mid off. Pathum Nissanka c Venkatesh Iyer b Avesh Khan 1(10b 0x4 0x6). Asalanka is in and taps it on the off side.

SL 1/1 in 1 over: Siraj to Nissanka first bowl. Over the wicket. Length outside off, pushed to point and a spectacular stop by Jadeja. Beaten! Pace and bounce and some late movement beats Nissanka's outside edge. Second slip in place now. Middle and leg this time and defended back. Another dot as Nissanka pushes to point. Off the mark with a dab to third man for a single. OUT! Back of length and castled. Gunathilaka chops one with a bottom edge on the pull that clatters onto his stumps. Danushka Gunathilaka b Mohammed Siraj 0(1b 0x4 0x6).
