DDCA elections to be held in eight weeks

The Delhi High Court has ordered elections to be held within eight weeks to elect the new body at the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA).

The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) will henceforth accept applications under the Right To Information (RTI) Act.

The Delhi High Court has ordered elections to be held within eight weeks to elect the new body at the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA). All amendments, as per the Lodha Committee Recommendations, are to be incorporated in the Articles of Association of the DDCA within two weeks.

The order said, "The process of publishing the new Articles of Association (incorporating the amendments indicated above) shall be completed in two weeks, within which period, the said amended Articles of Association shall also be published in the DDCA’s website. The Administrator shall take steps to ensure that the elections, in accordance with the said Articles of Association are held within eight weeks from today (March 23, 2018)."
