With a lot of key players missing, the pressure will be on Sri Lanka captain Dinesh Chandimal.

Right hand fast bowler Shaminda Eranga, who has taken 52 wickets in 16 Test matches, has been summoned to replace young fast bowler Binura Fernando for the three-match Twenty20 series against India. The 20 year old Fernando suffered a hamstring injury while training at the Gahunje village stadium on Sunday.

"(Tilakarante) Dilshan will be available for the Ranchi and Visakhapatnam matches," said the Sri Lankan skipper Dinesh Chandimal at a press conference here on Monday.

"As a captain, it’s a challenge for my team. Four or five senior players are injured. But the players selected have been in good form in the domestic tournament and they can show how good they are. I am looking forward to that. There will be ups and downs for all teams.

"We will learn a lot. We will put our heart and soul in this series," said Chandimal.
