Mumbai Indians cricketers, Jayant Yadav and Anukul Roy, admitted that they have learnt a lot during their stint with the Indian Premier League franchise.

“I think it’s a big honour, but with that honour is also a big responsibility. Representing Mumbai Indians has always (been a big thing)… Mumbai Indians has been a powerhouse in the IPL, and for you as a player, (it is your duty) to do your best and contribute to the team whenever you get a chance,” Yadav, who has played four Tests and a lone ODI for India, said.

“We have so much experience in the dressing room in Sachin Sir (Sachin Tendulkar), Zak Pa (Zaheer Khan) and our coach Mahela Jayawardane and Yuvi Pa (Yuvraj Singh). As a player, you can go and ask them any question on the field or off the field, it is a conducive environment in the dressing room so that we can go out there and express ourselves in best possible way,” Yadav said.

Young spinner Roy is enjoying his time with the franchise. “It felt very good for playing in Mumbai Indians. I made my debut this year. Last year, I was in the team but could not play. I have learned a lot and have got great experience…,” he said.
