Ishan Kishan and Quinton de Kock added 50 for the opening wicket.

What a convincing win this for Mumbai. They've done it without Rohit Sharma in the playing XI! Kishan has once again starred in a chase, remaining not out on 72. The chase was a walk in the park in the end, set up by Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult who took six wickets between them.

RCB vs SRH Live Score Updates

Delhi have now lost four in a row and continue to stay stuck on 14. Their last game against RCB is a must-win. However, such is their situation right now that even a win vs RCB won't guarantee them a place in the last four. They need other results to go their way. Their fate is now out of their hands. MI meanwhile will finish in top two.

SIX! Kishan fiinishes off in style - whips one over square-leg for six and Mumbai have beaten Delhi by nine wickets and ensured a top-two finish. Kishan remains unbeaten on 72 off 47!

SIX ! Kishan has hammered that over deep square for six. What a shot that from the young man. Dubey at the receiving end on that occassion. 10 runs off that over. Just six needed to win. DC's NRR will take a big hit. MI 105/1 after 14 Overs.

Ravichandran Ashwin to bowl out. Kishan starts with a brace before drilling one down the ground for four. Smart cricket, takes a single off the third ball and gets off strike. Now a brace for SKY. A single to end the over. MI 95/1 after 13 Overs.

SIX! Kishan, you beauty. He swings and swings hard, does Kishan and collects six over sweeper cover before bringing up another fifty with a brace. A 50 off 37 balls. Mumbai now waltzing towards the target. Kishan's embraced the opener's role with glee. A brace for SKY to end the over. 11 from that Rabada over. MI 85/1 after 12 Overs. Mumbai Indians needs 26 runs in 48 balls.

GONE ! A wicket for Delhi against the run of play. Qdk has played on. Nortje gets the breakthrough. The in-form Suryakumar Yadav (SKY) comes to the crease. Surya plays a delightful upper cut to end the over. Six from it. MI 74/1 after 11 Overs.

Praveen Dubey continues. Four singles off the first four balls. SHOT! Kishan is upping the ante - nails two back-to-back boundaries to finish the over. Mumbai getting a move on now. MI 68/0 after 10 Overs. MI needs 43 off the next 10.

Harshal Patel comes into the attack. He gifts a freebie first up - short and on the hips, Kishan swivels a pull for four and brings up the 50-run opening stand. Eight runs from that over. Mumbai ambling towards the total without an ounce of worry. MI 56/0 after 9 Overs .

Praveen Dubey comes into the attack.  A loud appeal for lbw off the second ball, Kishan is given out but he reviews immediately. Replays show the ball missing the stump by a big margin. Three balls later, Qdk nails the reverse sweep for four. Finishes the over with a brace. Seven off it in the end. MI 48/0 after 8 Overs.

While Dipak Ragav and Aashin Prasad didn't see the DC collapse coming, they believe R. Ashwin in his element can wreck havoc for Delhi against Mumbai. Can the spinner come through? All this and more about the playoffs in our IPL daily review.

First strategic time-out!

Ravichandran Ashwin is back into the attack. Kishan drives one to long-on for a single. Qdk collects a single with a hit to sweeper-cover. Good over from Ash - he has been exceptional so far - three overs, eight runs and no wicket. Three off his third. MI 41/0 after 7 Overs.

SHOT ! Rabada bowls a 146 kmph delivery but it's in the slot for Kishan, who slaps it over mid-wicket for a one bounce four. He follows it up with a boundary to third-man. He follows it up with a single to square-leg. So, nine off the first three balls. Two off the next three. 11 off it in the end. MI 38/0 after 6 Overs. Mumbai Indians needs 73 runs in 84 balls.

Marcus Stoinis, medium-pacer, has come into the attack. Qdk gets off strike with a single. A dot later, Kishan drops it in front of cover and takes off for a single. Both batters happy to take singles this over - one more for Qdk, this time to square-leg. Another single to end the over - four ones from the over. MI 27/0 after 5 Overs.

Anrich Nortje, right-arm fast, has been introduced into the attack. SHOT ! Nortje is greeted with a glorious straight drive off Qdk's bat. There is no lateral movement on offer for Nortje. Qdk guides the next ball to third-man for a single before Kishan pulls it over mid-wicket for four. Both batsmen enjoying the pace on the ball. What a shot to end the over -Kishan has hit that to long-on for a one bounce four. 13 off the over. MI 23/0 after 4 Overs.

Ashwin continues. Qdk nudges it right of square leg for a single. Slow start from MI. Kishan now hits one to long-on for a single. Very good second over from Ash. The openers adopting a cautious approach. Just three from it. MI 10/0 after 3 Overs.

Kagiso Rabada comes into the attack. He will have to come good with the new ball if Delhi are to put up a fight. Slip in place. Qdk on strike. Two dot balls later, Qdk takes off for a brace. The South African then picks three with a half-hearted pull shot. Five from the over. MI 7/0 after 2 Overs.

Ishan Kishan takes strike. Ashwin opens the attack. Kishan gets off the mark with a single to short fine leg. Now Qdk is off for a single after nudging it to short fine. Good start from Ash. Just two from it. MI 2/0 after 1 Over.

Ishan Kishan and Quinton de Kock to begin the 111-chase. Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada will be absolutely crucial for Delhi. Both Ishan and Qdk look to attack from the get go. So, watch out for the Powerplay - could be a make or break six overs for Delhi.

=============================

Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult have picked six wickets between them to restrict Delhi Capitals to 110/9. Only three runs off the final over. Mumbai Indians need 111 to beat Delhi and guarantee themselves a top-two finish. If Delhi lose today, their final game vs RCB becomes a must-win. We will be back with the chase soon.

=============================

Bumrah to bowl the 20th. He starts with a pacy short delivery - Dubey swings and misses. Make that two in two - an exact carbon copy off the first ball. Just angled into him. Dubey takes a single next ball and gets off strike. Now Rabada hits one straight down the ground and sprints back for a two. KG swings and misses. Final ball coming up. A dot to end the over. What an emphatic bowling performance from MI and Bumrah. Meanwhile, KG has been run out off the last ball!

Boult in the 19th. WICKET ! What a great running catch by Krunal. He has just bowled an over and boy, what a catch. Ashwin departs .  Kagiso Rabada, left handed bat, comes to the crease. He gets off the mark with a straight six! What a strike. 11 off the over. DC 107/8 after 19 Overs.

Krunal Pandya is back into the attack. Excellent from Krunal - just four from it. Ashwin and Dubey need to get a move on but they will be up against Bumrah and Boult. DC 96/7 after 18 Overs.

Chahar to bowl out. How many can Delhi get? Five runs from that over. A couple of braces and a single. Ashwin can bat and would want to play on till the end of the 20th. DC 92/7 after 17 Overs.

Nathan Coulter-Nile is back into the attack. Nathan Coulter-Nile strikes. Delhi falling apart in dramatic fashion . Hetmyer has pulled a short ball straight down Krunal Pandya's throat. Strategic time-out . What a spell of fast bowling from Bumrah. He has moved to 23 wickets in IPL 2020 and with it, taken the purple cap from Kagiso Rabada - thanks to his better economy rate. Rabada will have a chance to retain it when Delhi bowl. We are back live! Pravin Dubey, right handed bat, comes to the crease. SIX ! Ashwin has hit this over fine-leg for six. A brace to end the over. DC 87/7 after 16 Overs.

Bumrah struck twice in one over to put Mumbai in control against Delhi.

Ravichandran Ashwin comes to the crease. Chahar into his third. Hetmyer, meanwhile, has got one away past fine-leg for four. But Chahar follows up the boundary ball with three dots and a single. Five from it. DC 78/6 after 15 Overs.

FOUR! Much-needed boundary for DC. Bumrah strays in line and Harshal Patel whips it past mid-wicket for four. But Bumrah has the last laugh - he gets him out lbw off the last ball. Bumrah in the middle of a dream spell! He is ripping through Delhi's middle-order. Four runs and a wicket. DC 73/6 after 14 Overs. Bumrah's figures so far - 3-0-14-3.

Rahul Chahar continues. Just six runs from that over and nearly a run-out. Hetmyer sprinting back for a second off the final ball ; a direct hit would have been curtains for the Caribbean. A couple of braces and as many singles from that over. DC 69/5 after 13 Overs.

GONE! Delhi are having a familiar middle-order meltdown - Stoinis is caught behind off Bumrah's bowling. Shimron Hetmyer is in next. GONE ! Pant is given out lbw. He reviews but replays confirm the on-field decision. What an over this from Bumrah. Harshal Patel comes to the crease. Six runs and two wickets from that over. DC 63/5 after 12 Overs.

GONE! Big blow - Iyer is out stumped! Chahar with the breakthrough. Rahul Chahar, right-arm leg break, comes into the attack and picks a wicket off his second ball. Beautifully flighted leg-break from Chahar, Iyer went for a wild swing, missed and Qdk did the rest. Marcus Stoinis, right handed bat, comes to the crease. Meanwhile, Pant finishes the over with a streaky boundary. Eight runs and a wicket off it. DC 57/3 after 11 Overs.

Nathan Coulter-Nile, right-arm fast, comes into the attack. Pant tries to clobber this length ball over mid-wicket, just a couple in the end. DC head coach Ricky Ponting says things aren't exactly going according to plan and that one of the two batsmen needs to play a big innings. He was seen having an animated chat with Pant and Iyer during the time-out. By the way, Pollard dropped Pant off the second ball - a pull shot that went straight to him but he couldn't hold on. Five off that over. DC 49/2 after 10 Overs.

First strategic time-out!

Jasprit Bumrah, right-arm fast, comes into the attack. In the ninth over! That's how deep that bowling attack is of Mumbai's. Iyer now showing signs of urgency. Some quick running between the wickets. Bumrah's bowled from round the wicket to Pant. Another quiet over for Delhi, four from it. DC 44/2 after 9 Overs.

Jayant Yadav to continue. SIX! First signs of aggression from Iyer - much-needed big hit - launches this over long-on for six. Huge hit. 12 runs from that over. Good one for MI. DC 40/2 after 8 Overs.

Krunal Pandya is back into the attack. Good start to the over - just three off the first three. Pant and Iyer need to target a bowler or two. Just five off the first five balls. And a single to end the over - just six from it in the end. DC 28/2 after 7 Overs.

Jayant Yadav, right-arm off break, continues. Delhi struggling to break the shackles at the moment. Bumrah and Chahar haven't even bowled yet! A slip in place for Pant, none for Iyer though. Three runs from the over. DC 22/2 after 6 Overs.

Boult continues. Caught behind appeal off the first ball. Iyer the batter in question. Pollard reviews. No edge detected on the replays. Iyer survives. Boult has been superb with the new ball, especially in the Powerplays. Has repeatedly got breakthroughs as has been the case today. Shaw was Boult's 12th wicket in the PP! Excellent over again. One run from it. DC 19/2 after 5 Overs.

Krunal continues . Jayant Yadav, right-arm off break, comes into the attack. Rishabh Pant is in next. A slip in place. Good over. Just three singles off it. DC 18/2 after 4 Overs.

Boult continues. SHOT! Glorious pull shot for four by the young Shaw. That should give him a lot of confidence. FOUR! Angling away from Shaw this time, not quite where he intended but he will take it - four to third-man. GONE ! Oh, Shaw. There was no need to play that shot - early into the shot, mistimes and is caught by de Kock. Eight runs and a wicket. DC 15/2 after 3 Overs.

Krunal Pandya has been brought into the attack. Early introduction of spin. Slip in place. SHOT! Iyer gets a good stride forward and hammers this over mid-off for four. Six runs from the over. DC 7/1 after 2 Overs.

Out come the umpires. Pollard giving a pep talk to his teammates. Shaw will take strike. He would want to make a statement here, the young Prithvi Shaw. He will be up against Trent Boult. He got Shaw out the last time these two teams met. The youngster gets off the mark with a single. A slip in place for both batsmen. Boult getting some movement, just a smidge. GONE ! Dhawan is caught. His second consecutive duck of the season. A great catch by Suryakumar Yadav at backward point. Iyer joins Shaw. DC 1/1 after 1 Over.

===============================

Shaw has a chance at redemption. It was a string of low scores that saw him make way for Rahane. He's back in contention. Needs to make it count. Delhi will hope Dhawan can get them off to a solid start. Dhawan and Shaw gearing up.

- TOSS UDPATE: Mumbai Indians has won the toss and elected to field first. Hardik Pandya has been rested. Prithvi Shaw is back for Delhi.

Mumbai Indians (Playing XI): Mumbai Indians (Playing XI): Quinton de Kock(w), Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Saurabh Tiwary, Krunal Pandya, Kieron Pollard(c), Nathan Coulter-Nile, Rahul Chahar, Jayant Yadav, Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah

Delhi Capitals (Playing XI): Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer(c), Rishabh Pant(w), Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Harshal Patel, Kagiso Rabada, Ravichandran Ashwin, Praveen Dubey, Anrich Nortje

- Still no Rohit Sharma by the looks of it. Kieron Pollard will continue to lead MI. Yes, confirmed. No Rohit again.

- We are just minutes away from the toss, folks. Buckle up. Meanwhile , it's Danny Morrison and Deep Dasgupta with the pitch report . "The surface is hard and firm, the average score batting first in a day game is 160. That said, it is a better track to bat on. It might slow down as the day progresses, bringing spinners into play. Win toss, bat first," says Dasgupta.

- In the absence of Rohit, Ishan Kishan has made the opener's role his own. Quinton de Kock's form coupled with Mumbai's power-packed middle-order poses a stiff challenge for Delhi's bowling pace attack - one of the best in the tournament. As for Delhi's batting, the indifferent form of Rishabh Pant will be a concern. There has been increasing scrutiny over Pant's batting after he was left out of India's limited-overs squads for the Australia tour. Will he come good today? And what about Delhi's top-order? Will they persist with Rahane or will Prithvi Shaw return?

- We are less than an hour away from the toss in Dubai. Both teams have arrived at the stadium. Rohit Sharma was spotted too. Will he play today? Not that Rohit's absence has affected Mumbai's playoff chances - they are already through but would want to finish in top two. They play a Delhi side, which has run out of steam after a flying start. That said, Shreyas Iyer will bank on the in-form Shikhar Dhawan and Kagiso Rabada to come good and ensure that the Delhi side seals a playoff berth.
