Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ankit Rajpoot, Kartik Tyagi in for Rajasthan. Mumbai unchanged.

TOSS: Rohit Sharma wins toss, Mumbai Indians to bat first vs Rajasthan Royals.

A debut cap was handed in the Royals huddle. It seems like pacer Kartik Tyagi, who played for India in the U-19 World Cup, will make his IPL debut.

"Wind blowing through, will get cooler in the evening. Last few matches were played on a different pitch, today we move to the center square," says Daren Ganga.

'Even grass covering across the surface. Average score is 168 in this year's IPL. 63% wickets taken by seamers here. I don't think it will make too much of a difference here. When do you use spin? In powerplay? So interesting to see the strategy,' says JP Duminy in the pitch report.

Fresh surface so win toss and bat first may not be bad idea reckons Danny Morrison.

Some statistics to show how important Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya are to MI's middle and lower middle order. Pollard in IPL 2020: 13 sixes, S/R: 209. Hardik in IPL 2020: 8 sixes, S/R: 159

The Royals will have to wait until Sunday before star all-rounder Ben Stokes is available for selection. The English cricketer only reached UAE only last Sunday and will have to undergo mandatory quarantine. READ
