IPL 2019: Fever rules Dhoni out of second CSK game

MS Dhoni, who is down with fever, is missing a CSK match only for the second time since 2010.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni will miss his fourth match for Chennai Super Kings.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni sat out the match against Mumbai Indians because of fever, with Suresh Raina leading the Chennai Super Kings on Friday.

This is the second time Dhoni has missed a CSK game this season; the first being against the Sunrisers Hyderabad because of back spasms. Chennai has won two and lost two matches in Dhoni's absence.

Even after 11 years, CSK skipper  Mahendra Singh Dhoni  remains the best player for the yellow army. He has been striking the ball at 137.11 in this IPL.

"MS and Jaddu are not well, they have fever and they will miss today's game. We have three changes: MS, Jaddu and one more player is not playing (Faf). Dhruv Shorey, Murali Vijay and Santner come in," stand-in skipper Raina said after winning the toss at Chepauk. CSK will field first.
