Jimmy Neesham blasted Thisara Perera for five sixes off a single over during New Zealand's one-day international against Sri Lanka.
Neesham smashed five sixes off five balls – also hitting a no-ball for two – but could only manage a single off the last ball.
The 34-run over was the equal third highest in ODI history, with Neesham joining AB de Villiers, who managed that many against West Indies in 2014-15.
Only Herschelle Gibbs (36) and Perera (35) himself have managed more off a single over.
The end of the innings denied Neesham the fastest ever ODI half-century.
He finished 47 not out off 13 balls, having closed in on De Villiers' fastest 50, which came off 16 against West Indies in 2015.
New Zealand finished at 371/7 to be well on track to win the first ODI.
