That's it for the day. It was a memorable day for Chhattisgarh's Ajoy Mandal, who scored his maiden double-century. Bengal's Abhishek Raman also scored a century, as did Snehal Kauthankar, Hruaizela, Mohit Kale, and Akshay Wadkar. Odisha's Debasish Samantray will hope to get two runs quickly on Day Three to reach his own century.
Haryana defeated Tripura, while Puducherry has closed in on a big win over Sikkim.
The contest between Kerala and Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Himachal Pradesh, and Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh, have so far been closely fought.

Jharkhand vs Assam | At stumps, Jharkhand was 397 for 8, possessing a first-innings lead of 235 runs. Top-order batsmen Md. Nazim (173, 217b, 22x4, 1x6) and Utkarsh Singh (58, 105b, 6x4) were the chief contributors, with a century and a half-century, but the lower-order batsmen — Virat Singh (20, 30b, 0x4, 1x6), Pankaj Kumar (30, 25b, 6x4), and Anukul Roy (24 n.o., 51b, 3x4) — also chipped in with useful contributions.
The lead has ballooned to 235 runs.
Punjab vs Hyderabad | At stumps, Punjab is 167 for 4 in 51 overs in its first innings. Md. Siraj, the fast bowler, took three of the four wickets; Mandeep Singh (65 n.o., 135b, 9x4) and Anmolpreet Singh (54, 92b, 9x4) scored half-centuries.
Punjab trails Hyderabad by 75 runs.
Vidarbha vs Rajasthan | Thanks in main to centuries from Faiz Fazal, Mohit Kale and Akshay Wadkar, Vidarbha scored 510 for 8 in the first innings. Wasim Jaffer and Ganesh Satish also pitched in with useful contributions.
In reply, Rajasthan is 45 for 1 in 19 overs. Opener and wicketkeeper Chetan Bisht was dismissed for a duck in the third over. Rajasthan batsmen have an uphill task on Day Three; it trails by 465 runs.
Andhra vs Delhi | With an unbeaten 70 (164b, 8x4), Ricky Bhui has helped Andhra take the lead against Delhi. He stitched a partnership of 122 runs with Karan Shinde.
At stumps, Andhra is 249 for 6 in 87 overs. Delhi had been bowled out for 215 in the first innings.
Karnataka vs UP | Karnataka, at stumps, is four down for 168, in the first innings. It trails by 113 runs. Opener Devdutt Padikkal top-scored with 74. Karun Nair was the last batsman to be dismissed, for 13.
Mohit Jangra has two wickets.
Madhya Pradesh vs Baroda | In the second innings, Madhya Pradesh is 118 for 3, in 40 overs. Rameez Khan (44, 130b, 7x4) and Anand Singh Bais (45, 116b, 6x4) put on 79 runs for the first wicket. No. 4 Rajat Patidar was the third batsman to be dismissed, for 1.
The score is 118 for 3. The lead is 21.
Railways vs Saurashtra | Saurashtra, at stumps, trails Railways by 37 runs, on a fruitful day for the side. Pujara has dug in; he will resume his innings on Day Three on 69. Arpit Vasavada will give him company; he is batting on 11. Only three wickets have been lost; the score is 211.
Tamil Nadu vs Himachal Pradesh | It was a day full of wickets in Dindigul. Tamil Nadu was bowled out for 96, before Himachal Pradesh similarly fell apart in the second innings. Off-spinner R. Ashwin and R. Sai Kishore took four wickets between them; fast bowler T. Natarajan took two wickets. The day ended with the wicket of A. P. Vashisht, who was dismissed bowled by Natarajan.
HP has an overall lead of 195 runs. It was bowled out for 158 on Day One.
Maharashtra vs J&K | Fifty overs have been bowled in J&K's second innings. It has already taken a lead of 255 runs, after Maharashtra was bowled out for 109. Opener Suryansh Raina is batting on 79 (140b, 11x4). Fazil Rashid was the last batsman to be dismissed; he scored 43.
The score is 155 for 4.
Chandigarh vs Bihar | Chandigarh put up a decent total of 420 after having been put in by Bihar at the Sector-16 stadium in Chandigarh. Resuming the day at 274 for 5, A. K. Kaushik and the tailenders stuck on and provided resistance. Kaushik scored a century, while Bipul Sharma and Gurinder Singh scored half-centuries.
Ashutosh Aman finished with five wickets. In reply, Bihar is 6 for 1 in three overs. Opener Kumar Nishant has been dismissed for a duck.
Puducherry vs Sikkim | Puducherry needs just one more wicket to ensure a big win against Sikkim, in what has been a one-sided contest. After having been bowled out for 65, Sikkim has collapsed to 112 for 9 in the second dig. The day ended with the wicket of No. 10 Bhushan Subba.
Sagar Trivedi and Sagar Udeshi have been the wreckers-in-chief, taking three wickets each.
Goa vs Meghalaya | No. 6 Snehal Kauthankar has scored a century for Goa. He is batting on 105 (199b, 13x4). Opener Sumiran Amonkar was the other batsman to score a century; he fell for 129 (293b, 18x4). The lead is 111.
For Meghalaya, Abhy Negi and Dippu took two wickets each.
Manipur vs Nagaland | At stumps, Manipur, in its second innings, is 84 for 3 in 31 overs. Jayanta (21 n.o., 24b, 4x4) and Thomas M. (0 n.o., 7b) are batting. Narsingh Yadav retired hurt for 27.
An uphill task awaits Manipur on Day Three. It needs another 200 runs to make Nagaland bat again.
Arunachal Pradesh vs Mizoram | Taruwar Kohli has crossed his 150 as Mizoram takes the lead against Arunachal Pradesh. Opener Hruaizela also scored a century; he was dismissed for 124 by Akhilesh Sahani who has claimed both the wickets to have fallen in the innings so far.
Giving Taruwar company is Pawan K. B., who is batting on 68 (99b, 5x4). Taruwar is batting on 158 (225b, 15x4).
Odisha vs Services | Odisha has taken the lead against Services. Sujit Lenka was the last batsman to be dismissed for 27, Debasish Samantray ends the day on an unbeaten 96. The score: 280 for 6.
Diwesh Gurdev Pathania, Shadab Nazar and Sachidanand Pandey have taken two wickets each.
Kerala vs Bengal | At stumps, Bengal, at 236 for 6, trails Kerala by three runs. Our correspondent M. R. Praveen Chandran reports from Thiruvananthapuram:
Basil Thampi ends Abhishek Raman's stay with Monish picking a fine catch at first slip. Bengal 230 for six.
Uttarakhand vs Chhattisgarh | It's stumps, at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. Chhattisgarh's lead is 342. Mandal is batting on 209 (263b, 32x4, 1x6) and Amandeep Khare on 166 (317b, 20x4). The seventh wicket partnership is worth 341 runs.
Railways vs Saurashtra | Saurashtra is close to taking the lead against Railways. Cheteshwar Pujara, the No. 3, is batting on 69 (136b, 10x4). Seven wickets are in hand.
The score: 211 for 3. Saurashtra trails by 37 runs.
Andhra vs Delhi | Andhra has taken the lead against Delhi, in Ongole. Ricky Bhui has scored a half-century, and is batting on 69. Karan Shinde, with whom he had a partnership of 122 runs, was dismissed for 48.
Andhra is 235 for 6, the lead is 20 runs. Navdeep Saini has taken three wickets.
Kerala vs Bengal | Raman has reached his century. Bengal is 212 for 5.
Punjab vs Hyderabad | Bad light has stopped play at the Dhruv Pandove stadium in Patiala. Punjab trails by 75 runs; the score is 167 for 4, with Mandeep Singh batting on 65.
Fast bowler Md. Siraj has three wickets.
Chhattisgarh vs Uttarakhand | In Raipur, Chhattisgarh is piling on the runs against Uttarakhand. Middle-order batsman Amandeep Khare is batting on 166 (308b, 20x4). Giving him company in the middle is Ajay Mandal, who has just completed his maiden double-century, in just his 13th first-class match. His highest score before this was 135. He is now batting on 207 (255b, 32x4, 1x6).
The lead has ballooned to 340.
It's been a remarkable partnership between Khare and Mandal. They came together after the sixth wicket had fallen with 121 on the board. The partnership is worth 339 runs.
Odisha vs Services | At the DRIEMS Ground in Cuttack, Odisha is close to taking the lead against Services. No. 3 Debasish Samantray and wicketkeeper and No. 6 Sujit Lenka have put on 42 runs for the sixth wicket. Samantray needs another 16 runs to score the second first-class century of his career, in just his sixth match.
In the 97th over, Odisha is 255 for 5, it trails Services by 16 runs.
MP vs Baroda | MP opener Anand Singh Bais has been dismissed for 45 (116b, 6x4). This was Baroda's first breakthrough. Vishnu Solanki, the off-spinner, was the one to break the partnership of 79. MP needs another 10 runs to make Baroda bat again. The score, in the second innings: 87 for 1.
Assam vs Jharkhand | At the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi, Jharkhand has lost its sixth wicket in its first innings. Pankaj Kumar scored a breezy 30 before being dismissed lbw by Mukhtar Hussain. The lead has crossed 200 - it's 201 now.
The score: 363 for 6. Virat Singh (20 n.o., 29b, 0x4, 1x6) and Anukul Roy (2, 7b) are batting. Opener Md. Nazim has top-scored so far, with 173. It was his third first-class century.
Kerala vs Bengal | Bengal wicketkeeper and No. 6 Shreevats Goswami has been dismissed for 24. Monish Kareparambil was the bowled to dismiss him. It's the second wicket for the 29-year-old left-arm spinner.
Abhishek Raman, the opener, needs another five runs to score his third first-class century. He has hit six fours and two sixes so far in his 199-ball 95. Bengal is 191 for 5, it trails Kerala by 48 runs.
Karnataka vs UP | Here's our correspondent Ashwin Achal, reporting from Hubli:
Samarth's struggles continues. Out cheaply for 11, dragging a full ball back to the stumps. Once Karnataka's most consistent batsman, Samarth is now finding it tough to keep his spot in the side.
Padikkal falls, much against the run of play. Yet another inside edge off left-arm pacer Mohit. Not much movement, just playing down the wrong line. Similar dismissal to Samarth.
The score is 128 for 3. Karnataka needs another 154 runs to take the lead.
Manipur vs Nagaland | The third wicket has fallen in Manipur's first innings. Opener Bonny Chingangbam was dismissed caught and bowled by R. Jonathan. Jonathan took his first wicket in just his second over. Jayanta (21 n.o., 24b, 4x4) and Thomas M. (0 n.o.) are batting.
Manipur is 84 for 3 in the 30th over, trailing Nagaland by 200 runs.
Vidarbha vs Rajasthan | Vidarbha has declared its innings closed after having scored 510. Besides Faiz Fazal, who was dismissed on Day One, Mohit Kale and Akshay Wadkar scored centuries. Kale top-scored with 138 (228b, 18x4) and Wadkar scored 111 (214b, 9x4). The two added 209 runs for the fifth wicket.
T. M. Haq took four of the eight wickets to fall.

Punjab vs Hyderabad in Patiala: Punjab is 51 for three in reply to Delhi's 242. The top three batsmen - Shubman Gill, Sanvir Singh and Gurkeerat Singh Mann - are back in the pavilion. Captain Mandeep Singh and Anmolpreet Singh, currently in the middle, are tasked with resurrecting the innings.
Vidarbha vs Rajasthan in Nagpur: Mohit Kale is batting on 98 with Vidarbha going past 400! It is 401 for four, with Akshay Wadkar batting on 51 and sharing a 127-run partnership for the fifth wicket.
Andhra vs Delhi in Ongole: In reply to Delhi's 215, Andhra is 127 for five in its first innings, trailing by 88 runs. Ricky Bhui is the set batsman batting on 22, Karan Shinde is the new batsman (batting on 7).
Puducherry vs Sikkim in Puducherry: The home team has declared at 446 for eight in reply to Sikkim's first-innings total of 65, taking an overall lead of 381.

Vidarbha vs Rajasthan in Nagpur: Vidarbha continues to pile on the runs after captain Faiz Fazal won the toss and chose to bat first. It is 341/4 with Mohit Kale batting on 62 and Akshay Wadkar batting on 28. It's made slow progress on day two but is in the ascendancy.
Karnataka vs Uttar Pradesh in Hubli: Our reporter at the venue, Ashwin Achal, updates: "Karnataka wrap it up inside the first session. UP lose five wickets for just 31 runs, and is bowled out for 281. Not enough on the board for UP; Karnataka can bat out the visitor here."
Tamil Nadu vs Himachal in Dindigul: Our reporter at the venue, S. Dipak Ragav, updates: "Kousik run out. suicidal. hit on the pads and bowler appeals for lbw. goes for non-existent single. sent back by Ashwin. looked good while he was there. he was kinda on the backfoot as well. at best a leg-bye. that's 2 wickets that has been gifted on a platter 73/7. HP were in a similar state yesterday at 76/7".

Karnataka vs Uttar Pradesh in Hubli: Our reporter at the venue, Ashwin Achal, adds: "Abhimanyu Mithun takes a five-for with a beauty! Cleans up key main Mohammad Saif with one that cuts in sharply. Set batsman Saif shoulders arms, but watches in horror as his stumps are disturbed. UP's hopes of going past 300 dashed. Karnataka takes the upper hand."
Puducherry vs Sikkim in Puducherry: The home team is 321 for six in reply to Sikkim's 65 all out. Sikkim took four wickets for 11 runs to reduce Puducherry to 294 for six having been 283 for two, but Fabid Ahmed and Sagar Trivedi have added 27 runs for the seventh wicket so far.
Jharkhand vs Assam in Ranchi: Jharkhand has reached 100 for no loss in the 28th over, in reply to Assam's 162. Mohammad Nazim is batting on 61, while fellow opening batsman Kumar Deobrat is batting on 41.
Maharashtra vs Jammu and Kashmir in Pune: Maharashtra is six down for 84 in reply to Jammu and Kashmir's 209, trailing by a further 125 runs. Umar Nazir has been the pick of the bowlers with figures of three for 19 in his 10th over. For Maharashtra, Rahul Tripathi holds the key.
Tamil Nadu vs Himachal in Dindigul: Tamil Nadu slips to 43 for six with Ganga Sridhar and wicketkeeper N. Jagadeesan dismissed. Our reporter, S. Dipak Ragav, adds: "Atrocious batting by Ganga Sridhar Raju. team in trouble steps down to hit left-arm spinner Akash Vashist and miscues it. simple catch to mid on. the team is not going to be happy with it. Railways vs Saurashtra in Visakhapatnam: Railways has been bowled out for 248 in 92 overs. Opening batsman Pratham Singh top-scored with 98, while captain Karn Sharma made 52 before being dismissed lbw by Jaydev Unadkat, who was the pick of Saurahstra bowlers with figures of 20-3-56-4.
Andhra vs Delhi in Ongole: Andhra is 56 for two in reply to Delhi's 215. Team captain Hanuma Vihari and Manish Golamaru have added 44 runs for the third wicket after opening batsmen Gnaneshwar and Prashant Kumar fell cheaply. For Delhi, Navdeep Saini and Pawan Suyal have taken a wicket apiece.
Haryana vs Tripura in Lahli: Haryana has lost three for 21 in quick time, slipping to 157 for five. It still holds an overall lead of 94. The two set batsmen - Chaitanya Bishnoi (67) and Shivam Chauhan (56) - have been dismissed, Nitin Saini fell soon after for 1.
Kerala vs Bengal in Trivandrum: Our reporter, M.R. Praveen Chandran, updates: "Basil Thampi gets the big wicket of Bengal captain Abhimanyu Easwaran for 4. Bengal 9 for one."
Tamil Nadu vs Himachal in Dindigul: TN four down with 22 runs on the board! Captain Baba Aparajith and Sharukh Khan have been dismissed in quick succession. Our reporter in Dindigul, Dipak Ragav, updates: "TN imploding. Shahrukh Khan has gone for a first-ball duck. plays down the wrong line. Bowled. Pacer Vaibhav Arora who took 9 wickets in his debut in the last match, takes his 3rd wicket. 22/4".
Punjab vs Hyderabad in Patiala: Punjab has bowled out Hyderabad for 242, Gurkeerat Singh Mann finishing with figures of 11-3-34-4. Sumanth Kolla top-scored for Hyderabad with 79, while Himalay Agarwal made 68. Punjab will resume its first innings shortly.
Tamil Nadu vs Himachal in Dindigul: Tamil Nadu is two down for 13, Karunakaran Mukunth, the other opener, has also been dismissed cheaply. S. Dipak Ragav, our reporter at the venue, adds: "Second wicket down for TN. Debutant K Mukunth caught at slip. Never looked comfortable against Rishi Dhawan. A full delivery and tried to fish at it. Was trying to stay onside." Captain Baba Aparajith has joined Ganga Sridhar in the middle as the pair looks to rebuild the innings.
Odisha vs Services in Cuttack: Odisha is making slow progress in reply to Services's first-innings score of 271. It is 52 for one with the well-set Anurag Sarangi just dismissed for 37 by Shadab Nazar. Debasish Samantray is the new batsman in, joining Shantanu Mishra, who's batting on 15.
Kerala vs Bengal in Trivandrum: Bengal has bowled out Kerala for 239. Sanju Samson top-scored with 116, while Robin Uthappa made fifty. The team added only 48 runs for the last six wickets after Uthappa was dismissed. Ishan Porel was the pick of the Bengal bowlers with figures of 19-3-56-3.
Tamil Nadu vs Himachal in Dindigul: Tamil Nadu has lost senior batsman Abhinav Mukund early! He is caught behind off the bowling of Vaibhav Arora, out for 6, TN 13/1 .
Haryana vs Tripura in Lahli: Haryana is 136 for two in reply to Tripura's 63 all out. Chaitanya Bishnoi (66 not out) and Chauhan (41 not out) have put on 91 runs for the third wicket after opening batsmen Shubham Rohilla and Ankit Kumar were dismissed cheaply.
Tamil Nadu vs Himachal in Dindigul: Tamil Nadu, having bowled out Himachal for 158, is eight for no loss with Abhinav Mukund and Karunakaran Mukunth resuming their team's innings on day two.
Jharkhand vs Assam in Ranchi: Jharkhand has begun its first innings after bowling out Assam for 162 in 56.5 overs. Left-arm orthodox spinner Anukul Roy was the pick of the Jharkhand bowlers with figures of 10.1-1-28-4.
