Sourav Ganguly gets second term as CAB president
While Sourav Ganguly will head CAB for the second time, former BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya's son Avishek has been elevated to the post of secretary.

The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) electoral officer, Susanta Ranjan Upadhaya, on Thursday declared the names of the persons who were elected uncontested for the posts of office-bearers and members of the apex council.
The elections, which were scheduled on September 28, were redundant as the panel led by current CAB president Sourav Ganguly was unopposed.
As per the new CAB constitution, made on the guidelines of the Supreme Court, the former India captain, who served CAB as a joint secretary and then as the president, can continue until June 2020 when he will complete six years as an office-bearer and will go on a three-year ‘cooling off’ period.
After he became the president in 2015, following the death of former BCCI and CAB president Jagmohan Dalmiya, Ganguly will head CAB for the second time.
Dalmiya's son Avishek, who previously held the position of joint secretary, has been elevated to the post of secretary.
The last elections of the CAB was held in 2015, when former president Jagmohan Dalmiya was elected unopposed.
The office-bearers: Sourav Ganguly (president), Naresh Ojha (vice-president), Avishek Dalmiya (secretary), Debabrata Das (joint secretary) and Debasish Ganguly (treasurer).
Apex council: Ardhendu Kumar Ghosh, Goutam Goswami, Joydeep Kolay, Mintu Das, Numazar Mehta, Prabir Chakrabarty, Rajib Ghosh, Samrat Bhowmick, Sanjoy Dutta, Subrata Saha and Susanta Banerjee.
