Well, that's the wrap for today with Tamil Nadu, Mumbai, Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand registering huge wins.

 

Abhishek Nayar's counter-attacking 94 goes in vain as Puducherry goes down fighting to hand Uttarakhand a 65-run win at Shastri Medan, Anand.

 

In one of the biggest upsets of the day a spirited Chhattisgarh chased down 251 to beat Uttar Pradesh by four wickets.

 

At IIT Chemplast, Chennai, Tamil Nadu beats Services by 83 runs to register its first win.

 

In Bangalore, Mumbai came up with a dominating show to beat Karnataka by 88 runs. Shams Mulani took four wickets after centuries from Ajinkya Rahane and Shreyas Iyer.

 

Arunachal Pradesh beats Sikkim to win by 49 runs

 

Delhi thumps Hyderabad by six wickets (VJD method)

 

Krishna Das returns with figures of 8.2-1-50-4, as he bowls out Railways for 275. Goa wins by 43 runs.

 

Nagaland wins by seven wickets, thumping Meghalaya.

 

Tripura wins it by 4 wickets. But surprisingly the low-scoring match (Target was 80 for Tripura) did not go one-sided at all.

 

It has just been three days and some good cricket has been put up on display by the Plate teams this season! Pawan K B raises the bat to the crowd! Reaches his century in 115 balls (8x4, 2x6). Nagaland 216/2 now.

Meanwhile Tripura and Nagaland need 8 and 16 runs to win their respective matches.

 

In a shocker, Ranji champion Vidarbha loses four wickets in eight balls to hand the match over to Punjab, which wins it by 148 runs.

 

Rishabh Pant goes after 24.4 overs after making just 17 off 23 balls. Delhi 140/4 now.

OUT! Vidarbha's hope of a comeback vanishes with the wicket of Ganesh Satish who made 60 in 93 balls. Vidarbha back in trouble at 131/7.

WICKET! Krishnappa Gowtham makes 38(20) and goes after 28.3 overs as Dhawal Kulkarni manages to trap him in front of the wicket. Karnataka 210/8

Nitish Rana scores 55 runs in 56 balls (6x4, 2x6) as Delhi marches on to 115/3.

Ganesh Satish scores 51 runs in 76 balls (3x4, 1x6) giving Vidarbha some relief which is at 113/6.

Vidarbha painfully crawls to its 100 in 28.4 overs. It just has four wickets in hand now.

GONE! Skipper Gautam Gambhir departs -- after after being trapped by  Mehdi Hasan in front of the wickets -- making 41 runs. Delhi 97/3 after 17.2 overs.

OUT! Mrunal Devdhar goes after 29.1 overs making 68 off 72 caught by Krishna Das off the delivery of Lakshay A Garg, leaving Railways at 158/3.

WICKET! Puducherry (127/3) loses Govindaraajan at 22.2 overs. He had scored 58(69).

And Sedezhalie has to go for 50 itself five balls later. In 28.5 overs, Nagaland has racked up 138 for the loss of two wickets.

 

Kerala chases down the small target of 118 set by Odisha and emerges victorious by six wickets.

 

Sedezhalie also reaches his 50 in 87 balls. Nagaland 136/1 now.

Nilesh Lamichaney brings up his 50 runs in 86 balls . Sikkim 109/1 now.

WICKET! The celebrations go shortlived as Mayank Agarwal goes after 18.4 overs making 66 off 48 balls. Karnataka 133/3 now.

GONE! Faizan Khan departs three short of his half-century. Sikkim a run short of triple digits now for the loss of one man after 24.6 overs.

Mayank Agarwal shines yet again! Scores 52 runs in just 40 balls taking Karnataka to 113/2.

 

Govindaraajan scores a half-century in 56 balls (7x4, 1x6) as Puducherry reaches 115/1.

WICKET! Karun Nair falls for 31(32) after 15.5 overs . Karnataka 102/2.

Kerala, Puducherry, Railways, Karnataka, and Nagaland have reached the 100-run mark now. Services follows soon after.

Services loses its first man too! Nakul Verma goes after scoring 60 off 55 balls. Services 85/1 after 14.5 overs.

OUT! Vidarbha reeling at 36/5 after 13.2 overs. Apoorv Wankhade 5(10) is the man to go now- caught by Shubman Gill off Mandeep Singh.

Tripura loses its first wicket in the last ball of the second over. B B Ghosh departs for 6. Tripura 10/1

Nakul Verma reaches his half-century in 40 balls. Services has started the chase off on a good note. Score- 68/0

Sikkim reaches 50, unfazed in 13.5 overs. Chattisgarh reaches its 50 too in 14.1 overs, losing two wickets en route.

WICKET! It is 9.2 overs and Vidarbha loses another with just 24 runs on the board. Things not looking good for the Ranji champion here. Wadkar goes for 4, caught by Mandeep Singh off Manpreet Singh Grewal.

Karnataka's score- 52/1 in 7.5 overs. They are chasing a mammoth total of 362.

Nagaland crosses the 50-run mark after eleven overs of play. They need 190 runs to win in 37 overs.

WICKET! And Sanju Samson departs after making 25 off 56 balls. Kerala still needs 56 runs to win with both remaining overs and wickets on its side.

After Delhi, Railways and Services follow suit to reach 50.

Delhi reaches 50 in 8.4 overs, for the loss of two wickets. They still have eight wickets in hand to chase down 205.

Vidarbha is in trouble already! The side is three down with only 19 on the board.

After 20 overs, Kerala is at 60/2. The side needs 58 runs to win in 30 overs. Sanju Samson 23(48) and Sachin Baby 22(36) are at the crease.

Kerala and Puducherry cross the 50-run mark.

Jammu and Kashmir disappoints yet again. Closes its innings at 79 against Tripura, all batsmen back to the pavilion, thanks to a fifer from Harmeet Singh.

Unmukt Chand goes for a duck, Delhi loses one with no runs on the board. Similar situation for Vidarbha. Atharva Taide goes in the very first ball of the match.

With Fazil Rashid's wicket, Tripura's Harmeet Singh (5.1-1-7-4) has four wickets to his name now, J & K 63/7.

Nagaland loses one early. Nitesh has been castled by Abhay Negi. 6/1, nine balls into the innings.

Mentor Irfan Pathan falls to Tripura's Neelambuj Vats. Jammu and Kashmir 59/6.

After 20 overs, Jammu and Kashmir is struggling at 52/5 with stalwarts Irfan Pathan 1(6) and Parvez Rasool 7(16) at the crease.

Mumbai has posted a humongous total of 362 for Karnataka to chase!

Rahane departs, but too late! The damage has been done and done good. Vinay Kumar takes the wicket only after Rahane reaches 148. Mumbai 347/4, with only five balls remaining in the first innings.

At the end of the first innings: Goa 317/5, Tamil Nadu 309/4, Uttarakhand 290/7, Hyderabad 205 all-out.

Punjab puts up a total of 278/7 for Vidarbha to chase down in 50 overs.

Baba Indrajith brings up his 50 in 49 balls. Tamil Nadu 287/4 now.

Shreyas goes after adding ten more runs after his century as he hits the ball straight into the hands of Mithun A. Tamil Nadu 284/4 vs Services after 47.3 overs.

Goa and Arunachal Pradesh follow Mumbai and reach triple hundred.

Uttar Pradesh folds innings at 250 all-out in 49.2 overs.

Shreyas Iyer scores a century now, following Ajinkya Rahane in 77 balls. (5x4, 7x6). Mumbai 298/1 now.

Arunachal Pradesh ends things at 306/4. Would Sikkim be able to chase down this mammoth target?

Manan Sharma takes four (8.2-0-25-4)! Hyderabad 186/9 now after 46.2 overs.

Meghalaya ends its innings at 246/6 against Nagaland.

 

And as expected, Haryana wins by eight wickets to secure four points against Assam. Amit Mishra is surely the man of the moment with his figures of 10-2-13-6.

 

There's the big wicket!N Jagadeesan sent back to the pavilion, run out. He made 133. Tamil Nadu at 244/3 now.

At the end of 10 overs, Jammu and Kashmir struggling yet again at 22/2 against Tripura.

Yogesh Nagar and Gurinder Singh bring up their respective fifties for Meghalaya which has racked up 234/4 now.

The hero falls but not before seeing his team safe with a big total. Doria goes after 43.4 overs, making 122 in 129 balls off Bhushan Subba. Arunachal Pradesh at 257/3.

Gurkeerat Mann brings up his 50 in 58 balls. Punjab 188/5 now.

Jatin Sahay Saxena has four scalps against his name now. The Chattisgarh bowler has figures of 9.1-0-48-4 now. Uttar Pradesh 214/7.

Uttarakhand loses its skipper to Fabid Ahmed. Scoreboard reads 190/3 after 38.4 overs.

Our reporter from Chennai says: "Shubham Rohilla and Chaitanya Bishnoi have taken Haryana to 60/1 in 6 overs."

B Sandeep has scored a 50 for his team in 65 balls as Hyderabad moves on to 152/6.

Shreyas Iyer 52 runs in 52 balls now as Mumbai has racked up 217 on the board at the loss of 1 wicket.

Doria with the third hundred of the day. What an innings it has been from this man! Brings it up in 132 balls, and takes Arunachal Pradesh to 227/1.

A cameo of 37 off 21 balls (2x4, 4x6) from Harshal Patel comes to an end as he finds Mrinmoy Dutta at covers off Riyan Parag. Haryana loses its first wicket for 46 in 4.5 overs.

Our reporter from Chennai says: "Some clean hits, over third man for six, drive through the covers for four, a lofted shot over mid on for six and more sees Haryana race to 37/0 after 4 overs."

Tamil Nadu puts up 200 on the board and we all know who has been at the wheels.

Our reporter from Bengaluru says: "Rahane brings up his century in 118 balls. Mumbai set for a 300-plus total."

 

Our reporter from Chennai says: "A good start by Haryana. 13/0 in 2 overs. They look to be in a hurry to finish things off."

And yes! Jagadeesan scores the first century of the day in 109 balls. His innings saw 11 boundaries coming from his willow.  Tamil Nadu is at 196/2 now, in the 35th over.

Tamil Nadu skipper, Vijay Shankar departs cheaply for 5. Baba Indrajith comes out on to the crease to bat opposite Dindigul Dragons skipper, Jagadeesan who looks all set to make a century. Tamil Nadu has 179 on the scoreboard now for the loss of 2.

Odisha ends its innings at 117 all-out in 34.4 overs. Things should be easy for Kerala from here.

Chattisgarh averts danger as the big man departs cheaply! Suresh Raina hits the ball straight into the hands of the bowler, Shivendra Singh. After 33.3 overs, Uttar Pradesh is at 179/3.

Our reporter from Chennai says: "Shubham Rohilla and Harshal Patel out to open Haryana’s innings. They would love to wrap this up before lunch time. 82 is the target and off they go in pursuit."

Abhinav Mukund goes as Tamil Nadu loses its first. Out for 69! Varun Choudhary provides the necessary breakthrough for Services. Tamil Nadu 173/1 now.

At the end of 30 overs, Uttarakhand is at 141/1. Vaibhav Bhatt 52(81) and Karanveer Kaushal 81(95) are on the crease.

 

Jammu and Kashmir wins the toss and decides to bat first.

Our reporter from Chennai says: "Rahul Tewatia takes a simple catch, off his own bowling, to pack up the Assam innings for 81. Arup Das is the last man to be dismissed. Amit Mishra takes the match ball and leads his team out for the break. A remarkable bowling performance from Haryana."

Our reporter from Chennai says:  "Amit Mishra bowls out his 10 overs on-the-trot and returns with figures of 10-2-13-6. Assam in dire straits 81/9 in 30 overs."

Meanwhile, Akshay Chandran pockets 4 wickets for Kerala! 9.4-0-27-4 are his figures. Odisha 97/7 after 30.4 overs.

Our reporter from Chennai says: "The Assam batsmen are falling like nine pins here. Abu Nechim Ahmed steps out, only to be deceived by flight, and is stumped by Nitin Saini. And no prizes for guessing the bowler, it is Amit Mishra. He takes his 6th wicket and Assam in a horrid state at 69/9 in 27.3 overs."

Our reporter from Chennai says: "A fabulous five-for for Amit Mishra. Jitumoni Kalita is caught by Pramod Chandila at second slip off Mishra for 9 (16 balls). Assam slips to 66/8 in 25.3 overs."

Our reporter from Chennai says: "Mishra is unstoppable. This is absolute carnage with the ball. He castles Wasiqur Rahman with a beauty. Rahman departs for 5 (11 balls). Assam 61/7 in 23.4 overs. 7-1-7-4 for Amit Mishra now.

The last boundary for Assam was by Harshal Patel, in the 8th over. 18 overs since Assam had scored a boundary. At the end of 25 overs, Assam 64/7."

Abhinav Mukund follows suit. Reaches his half-century in 70 balls after Jagadeesan. Tamil Nadu reaches 130, unfazed.

Karanveer Kaushal brings up his 50 for Uttarakhand, which is at 88/1 now.

Ajinkya Rahane comes up with his 50 now in 64 balls. Mumbai 114/1.

Our reporter from Chennai says: "Assam slips from 33/0 in 7 overs to 50/5 in 20 overs. The bowlers have called the shots after the first 30 minutes of play. A remarkable turn around by Haryana. Their bowling is doing the talking."

Our reporter from Chennai says: "Amit Mishra strikes again. The spinner is making the batsmen dance to his tunes. Amit Sinha edges one to first slip and a regulation catch for Rahul Tewatia. Sinha departs for 2, off a whopping 33 balls, Assam 50/5 in 20 overs."

Assam, meanwhile has already lost five batsmen on its way to 50.

Our reporter from Bengaluru says: "Rahane and Shreyas Iyer together now. Karnataka can expect quick singles and twos, with minimum risk."

Jagadeesan does not fail this time and makes his 50 in 64 balls. Tamil Nadu, subsequently reaches 100 too, thanks to him and Abhinav Mukund who is batting on 40.

Our reporter from Bengaluru says: "After an entertaining knock, Prithvi Shaw dismissed by K. Gowtham. Tries to cut, ball too close to off, gets an edge, taken well by keeper C.M. Gautam."

OUT! Krishnappa Gowtham sees off Prithvi Shaw who scored 60 off 53 balls. After 17.6 overs, Mumbai is at 106/1.

Upendra Yadav takes Uttar Pradesh to 109/1, scoring his half-century in 55 balls .

Uttar Pradesh and Mumbai have put up 100 on the scoreboard.

Doria, batting opposite Samarth for Arunachal, reaches his 50 too in 57 balls. Arunachal Pradesh, whacking bowlers all over the park, reaches 119.

R R Biswa reaches his half-century in 56 balls, taking Meghalaya to 76/1.

Manan Vohra goes! Caught by substitute J M Sharma off skipper Faiz Fazal. The RCB batsman had managed to make 27 off 35 balls. Punjab 57/2 after 15.1 overs.

Uttarakhand puts up 50 on the board, 13.4 overs into the game, at the loss of one wicket.

The India U-19 skipper, Prithvi Shaw has started from where he left last day and scores 53 in 41 balls (8x4, 1x6).

Hyderabad, Meghalaya, Odisha and Punjab cross the 50-run mark.

Our reporter from Chennai says: "Himanshu Rana picks a stunner. Riyan Parag launched a full bloodied pull off Arun Chaprana and Rana, at short midwicket, takes the catch in the second attempt. He got his hand the first time, ball didn’t stick in but made no mistake on the rebound. Assam 42/3 in 10.3 overs."

Samarth Seth working his wonders again. He goes on to smash a 28-ball 50 for Arunachal Pradesh (10x4). Arunachal Pradesh is unfazed at 84.

Mumbai, Tamil Nadu and Goa follow Arunachal Pradesh and UP as they put up 50 on the scoreboard.
