It's been a tough few days for the Thailand football team. Coming into the AFC Asian Cup 2019 ranked 118 - the lowest in Group A - the side's campaign got off to a disastrous start when it suffered a 4-1 hammering against India on Sunday.
Things got worse as coach Milovan Rajevac, who has been in charge since 2017, was sacked the next morning and assistant coach Sirisak Yodyardthai was named interim manager.
The Thai did not have a training session on Monday and took the day off. Needing a break from the recent string of events, the team headed out to the Madinat Jumeirah marketplace in Dubai for a team dinner. The boys donned their blue polo T-shirts and were seen posing for pictures and interacting with fans.

The War Elephants got back on the training pitch on Tuesday evening to begin their preparation for the clash against Bahrain on January 10. There will be a lot at stake as Thailand will have to manage a win to keep alive its hopes of qualifying for the knockouts.
The side is currently at the bottom of Group A, while Bahrain is second after it drew against host United Arab Emirates in the tournament's opening clash.
