Joao Felix celebrates scoring for Atletico Madrid during the side's win over Cadiz.

Reigning La Liga champion Atletico Madrid won its fourth consecutive league game on Friday, beating Cadiz 2-1 to climb to third place in the standings.

Joao Felix was once again a key factor for Atletico as he scored in the third minute following an error from Cadiz goalkeeper Jeremias Ledesma who mishandled the ball inside the area and gifted it to the Portuguese forward.

Felix has five goals in his last five games in all competitions and has been instrumental in reviving Atleti's title hopes after a poor start to the season. Real Madrid leads the standings on 63 points, 12 ahead of Diego Simeone's side.
