Liverpool was one of four clubs to secure qualification for the last 16 of the Champions League in the final round of group games on Wednesday.
The English side claimed an emphatic 7-0 win at home against Spartak Moscow to win Group E and ensure that Sevilla -- whoichdrew 1-1 at Maribor -- would join it.
Porto won 5-2 at home to last season's semi-finalist Monaco to qualify from Group G, while Shakhtar Donetsk beat Manchester City 2-1 to go through with Pep Guardiola's men from Group F.
