Martin Demichelis has re-joined Malaga on a deal that runs until the end of the season.

Demichelis signed for Espanyol following his release by City in June but was let go by the Catalan club last week.

And Malaga has quickly swooped in to bolster its defence by signing him to a short-term deal.

Malaga is 13th in LaLiga, with only five teams having conceded more goals than the 31 shipped by Marcelo Romero's men this season.
