Brazil vs Mexico

Mexico which meets the World Cup favourites will have to hope to return to the brilliant form it had been in at the beginning of this tournament.

Left back and star Marcelo is doubtful for the game post an injury. Atletico Madrid’s Felipe Luis might be the one making up for his absence.

Brazil had a considerable struggle in its opening two matches but its last victory over Serbia might be the win which can boost its confidence.

However, Brazil has to be very cautious about the fact that its key trio Neymar, Coutinho and Casemiro are only a booking away from suspension.

Mexico put up an excellent show against last time champions Germany and South Korea but it would not be hoping to put up a repeat of its performance against the Swedes.

We can expect to see changes in the starting XI with Jonathan Dos Santos coming into midfield and Hugo Ayala, who played against Germany, coming in to shore up the defence.

Belgium vs Japan

Kagawa is the key to Japan's hopes of making it bigger. It will take a shocker for Japan to beat Belgium.

Along with fellow senior players Yuya Osako and captain Makoto Hasebe, Kagawa was one of six changes from the side which earned them a place in the last 16 despite a 1-0 loss to Poland in the final group game.

Japan squeezed into the knockout rounds at Senegal's expense on disciplinary grounds.
