I-League: Own goals cost Sudeva Delhi match against RoundGlass Punjab

RoundGlass Punjab FC gained from two own-goals from Sudeva Delhi’s tentative defence to beat the latter 3-2 in an I-League fixture at the Kalyani Stadium and consolidate its position in the top half of the current standings.

Sudeva Delhi played well in the opening half and sat on a comfortable 2-0 lead at halftime. Sreyas V.G. and Abhijit Sarkar found the target for the Delhi-based side.

RoundGlass Punjab brought the scoreline in its favour after the break thanks to the Sudeva Delhi defence, which conceded two own goals - from Vanlalzudika and Souvik Das - to help the Punjab side secure an impressive comeback win. Sumeet Passi was the only RoundGlass Punjab player to find the target.

In another match held at Naihati Stadium, Real Kashmir recovered a goal’s deficit to hold the AIFF developmental side Indian Arrows to a 1 - 1 draw.

Vibin Mohanan gave the Indian Arrows the lead in the 77th minute before Jong-Oh Park equalised for Real Kashmir five minutes later to have the two sides taking a point away from the encounter.

(At Naihati) - Real Kashmir 1 (Jong-Oh Park 82) drew with Indian Arrows 1 (Vibin Mohanan 77).
