Chennai City FC will be eyeing a win when it takes on Minerva Punjab for the reverse fixture of the I-League at the Guru Nanak Stadium in Ludhiana on Saturday.

The tournament debutants played each other in January when Chennai City had held Minerva to a goalless stalemate. Since then both teams have seen a plethora of changes in their personnel as well as coaching staff.

The Punjab outfit has roped in South Korean defender Sang-Min Kim to add more momentum to the side. He will have to shoulder the defensive duty with Loveday Enyinnaya.

Chennai City FC, meanwhile, recorded a stunning victory against East Bengal to open up the title race once again just before the league went into the International break.

However, Chennai City will miss the services of Nandhakumar and Prasanth due to injury. Both of them had scored in the last outing against East Bengal. Marcos Tank too has not travelled with the squad to take on Minerva.

To add woes to the team management, the Chennai-based club has only left with four away fixtures now.

The match is set to kick-off at 04:30 PM.
