Mohun Bagan to leave for AFC Cup tie on Sunday

The side will take on South China on Wednesday at the Mongkok Stadium in Hong Kong in a Group G encounter.

Mohun Bagan thrashed Maldivian side Maziya SRC 5-2 in its last AFC Cup encounter.

Mohun Bagan will be leaving for Hong Kong on Sunday night for their Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup match against South China Athletic Association. The side will take on South China on Wednesday at the Mongkok Stadium in Hong Kong in a Group G encounter.

“The Mariners will have a one-hour training session at the main venue on Tuesday,” the club said in a release.

Mohun Bagan has done well so far this season. The Kolkata side thrashed Maldivian side Maziya SRC 5-2 in its last AFC Cup encounter and is presently at the top of the I-League points table.
