Sauber driver Marcus Ericsson was forced to miss qualifying as he was taken to hospital for check-ups.

Marcus Ericsson has been medically cleared to compete in the British Grand Prix and will start from the pit lane. Sauber driver Ericsson slammed into the barriers at Stowe Corner during FP3 at Silverstone on Saturday, forcing the session to be red-flagged for over 10 minutes. The force of the impact brought Ericsson's steering wheel away in his hands.
