Victory for Lewis Hamilton at Spa would see him equal his best winning streak in F1.

Lewis Hamilton heads to this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix looking to secure a milestone Formula One win, while Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg will be hoping to end his August curse. Championship leader Hamilton opened up a 19-point advantage over Rosberg ahead of the mid-season break, and the omens will certainly be in his favour at Spa-Francorchamps.

With the help of Opta, we take a look at the key statistics behind the upcoming event:

– Nico Rosberg has never won a race in August, September or October.

3 – Ferrari are enduring their worst run without making it to the podium since Fernando Alonso left the team in 2014.

4 – One fifth of Kimi Raikkonen's 20 race wins have come at Spa, making it his most successful circuit.

5 – Victory for Hamilton at Spa would see him equal his best winning streak in F1.

12 – Alonso has only raced more times without a win at Interlagos than Spa, where his best performance has been finishing second in 2005 and 2013.

19 – Esteban Ocon is set to become the youngest F1 driver from France when he debuts for Manor on Sunday at 19 years, 11 months and 11 days.

27 – Manor's Pascal Wehrlein is the driver with the best performance in the start of races, gaining 27 positions combined, nine more than Jenson Button and Kevin Magnussen.

32 – Daniel Ricciardo has made more pit stops than anyone else in F1 this season and joins Valtteri Bottas in being the only racers yet to retire in 2016.

50 – Hamilton will complete a half-century of race wins if he tops the podium at Spa, moving him to within one of Alain Prost, who sits second in the all-time rankings.

1994 – Sunday will represent exactly 22 years since Max Verstappen's father, Jos, made it to the second and final podium of his career at Spa.

7004 – Spa is the longest circuit in the 2016 calendar at 7004 metres and has the fewest laps at 44.
