Daruvala seventh in F2 French GP Feature Race
Indian driver Jehan Daruvala finished seventh in the Formula 2 French Grand Prix Feature Race on Sunday.
He started the race from 10th place on the grid.
Earlier, the 23-year-old Daruvala, who is backed by Red Bull and drives for Prema Racing, had finished second in Saturday's sprint race, claiming his sixth podium finish of the season.

Bopanna-Middelkoop pair loses Hamburg Open final
Rohan Bopanna and his Dutch partner Matwe Middelkoop lost to the British-Finnish pair of Lloyd Glasspool and Harri Heliovaara in the Hamburg Open final on Sunday.
The fourth-seeded Indo-Dutch duo, who reached the French Open semifinal this year, could not break the unseeded pair of Glasspool and Heliovaara even once and suffered a 2-6, 4-6 defeat in one hour 3 minutes.
This was Bopanna’s fourth tour-level final this year. While the 42-year-old Indian, world number 21 in doubles, won the ATP250 titles in Adelaide and Pune with compatriot Ramkumar Ramanathan, he and Canada’s Denis Shapovalov lost the summit clash in Doha.
The all-Indian pair of Divij Sharan and Purav Raja lost 6-7 (3), 6-3, [7-10] to the top-seeded Mexican-American duo of Hans Hach Verdugo and Hunter Reese in the Indianapolis Challenger Final.
Manish Sureshkumar won the ITF $15k title in Colombo with a fabulous 6-4, 6-0 victory over top-seeded Frenchman Quentin Folliot in the final.
However, in the $15k ITF event in Monastir, second-seeded Vaidehi Chaudhari lost to 3-6, 6-1, 4-6 to the unseeded Indonesian Priska Madelyn Nugroho in the summit clash.

AITA Ranking tournament
VM Ranjeet and Yubarani Banerjee have been seeded No.1 in the men’s and women’s sections of the Rs.5,00,000 AITA ranking tennis tournament to be played at the Singha Academy in Jalandhar from Monday.
Dhruv Hirpara, Oges Theijo, Neeraj Yashpaul, Yugal Bansal, Udit Kamboj, Sarthak Suden and Ankit Rao will be the other leading players in the men’s seciton. Ranjeet will open against qualifier Himanshu Mor.
Anjali Rathi, Jagmeet Kaur, Kashish Bhatia, Himaanshika Singh, Ishwari Matere, Sahira Singh and Sachi Sharma will be the other leading players in the women’s event. Yubarani will start against Chandana Potugari while Anjali will be up against Ritu Ohlyan.
Vaishnavi Adkar came through the qualifying event and will play Rachita Talwar in the first round of the main draw.

3M Open: Theegala, Atwal and Chopra miss cut
India golfer Arjun Atwal crashed out of the 3M Open, while Indo-Swede Daniel Chopra and Indian-American Sahith Theegala also missed the cut here.
Theegala shot 73-73, while Atwal carded 73-78 and Chopra was 78-73.

Jeev Milkha Singh makes early exit on Senior Open debut in Scotland
Indian golfing legend Jeev Milkha Singh carded a second successive 75 to bow out early on his Senior Open debut here on Sunday.
Coming into the tournament after securing a third-place finish at the Winstongolft Open in Germany, Jeev was unable to get his game together and missed a series of putts.
"It just did not happen this week and I was quite disappointed considering it was a Major and my first Senior Open and the golf course is a great one," Jeev said.
"I have never played the Kings Course, but it was a great one and a fine challenge for golf. Hopefully, I will be able to make some other time here," he added.

Aditi Ashok misses cut at Evian Championship in France
Indian golfer Aditi Ashok missed the cut at the Evian Championship after carding a one-over 72 in the second round here.
Aditi, who made a record 22nd Major appearance, needed a birdie on the final hole to stay on in the event but failed to do so as the cut fell at even-par.
