National shotgun championship: Prithviraj takes the lead

Prithviraj Tondaiman led with a perfect 50 after two rounds, one point ahead of former World champion Manavjit Singh Sandhu and Aman Ali Elahi in men’s trap in the 62nd National shotgun championship at the JDA Range on Tuesday.

Birendeep Sodhi, Anirudh Singh, Manavaditya Singh Rathore, GS Sharan, Zoravar Singh Sandhu, Mohd. Saif Sheikh, Siddhartha Pawar, Asian Games silver medallist Lakshay Sheoran, Bhowneesh Mendiratta and Ronald Kamlunlal Tungdim followed one point behind on 48, ahead of Olympian Kynan Chenai who had 47, in a strong field of 168 shooters.
