Gurpreet Singh signs 3-year deal with Puma

Indian goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu has signed a three-year endorsement deal with Puma, it was announced on Thursday.

According to Athletes Today Sports Management Pvt. Ltd, the sports agency managing the Bengaluru FC player, this is Puma's longest engagement with any footballer in India.

Abhishek Sharma, CEO of Athletes today, said: "We are excited to facilitate this partnership between Puma and our star player Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, this deal is a benchmark to understand the growth of Indian football players in the commercial aspects of the game. Gurpreet is a special talent and he should be given credit for what he has done."

Commenting on the deal, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu said: "I'm excited to start this partnership with Puma as one of their global ambassadors for football. I also would like to thank team Athletes Today for making this possible. I share a fantastic relationship with these guys, absolute professionals and it's a dream team for any athlete to have these guys. Choosing the best as Puma wasn't a hard task."

Gurpreet Singh currently is a part of the Indian contingent for the King's Cup tournament in Thailand
