ATP Rankings: Federer remains on top, Bhambri climbs three places
Roger Federer retained the top spot on the ATP rankings despite his Indian Wells final loss to Juan Martin Del Potro,while Yuki Bhambri climbed three places to move into the 107th spot.

After claiming two big wins at the recently concluded Indian Wells Open, Yuki Bhambri has jumped three places to reach the 107th spot in the ATP rankings released on Monday.
Bhambri qualified for the main draw after getting past compatriot Ramkumar Ramanathan. He went on to beat Nicolas Mahut 7-5, 6-3 in the first round to register his career's first ATP Masters win.
The top-ranked Indian continued his fine run to get past ninth seed Lucas Pouille 6-4, 6-4 in the second round, marking his best result in terms of his opponent's ranking, since his win over then world number 16 Fabio Fogini in the Chennai Open in 2013.
Bhambri will have to further step up his game if he is to break into the top-100 and seal a spot in the main draw of the upcoming Grand Slams.
Among other Indians who made notable progress were Sumit Nagal and Arjun Kadhe, who jumped 5 and 95 spots to move to 218 and 423 respectively.
Federer retains top spot
Juan Martin Del Potro climbed two places to sixth in after he defeated Roger Federer in the Indian Wells final on Sunday.

The 29-year-old handed Federer his first defeat of 2018 with a 6-4, 6-7 (8/10), 7-6 (7/2) win, extending his own win streak to 11 matches including a title run earlier this month at Acapulco.
Federer himself reclaimed top spot just a month ago and remains marginally ahead of his eternal Spanish rival Rafael Nadal, who missed the American tournament with a leg injury.
