Bopanna loses first round

Rohan Bopanna in partnership with Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France was beaten 6-4, 6-7(5), [10-5] by Karen Khachanov of Russia and Lucas Pouille of France in the doubles pre-quarterfinals of the €1,996,245 ATP tennis tournament in Holland.

In the ATP event in New York, Davis Cupper Ramkumar Ramanathan was beaten in the first round of the qualifying event, while Divij Sharan was beaten in the first round of doubles in partnership with Scott Lipsky of the US.
