John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg named Laver Cup captains
The Laver Cup, a three-day tennis extravaganza that will see present and former tennis stars in action, begins on September 22 in the city of Prague, Czech Republic.

John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg were named as the captains for the inaugural edition of the power-packed Laver Cup beginning on September 22.
While McEnroe, with Patrick McEnroe as vice-captain, will lead the World team, Bjorg will be assisted by Thomas Enqvist as he takes charge of the Europe Team.
The Laver Cup is a novel idea, which will see the biggest tennis stars from Europe take on a mighty Rest of the World team.
The novel tourney, which is a three-day tennis extravaganza, will be held at the O2 arena in the city of Prague in Czech Republic.
The tourney will take place every year, two weeks following the US Open, except in Summer Olympic years. The Laver Cup will be played in USA in 2018.
Team Europe consists of Bjorn Borg, Thomas Enqvist, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Marin Cilic, Dominic Thiem, Alexander Zverev and Tomas Berdych.
Team World consists of John McEnroe, Patrick McEnroe, Jack Sock, Nick Kyrgios, John Isner, Sam Querrey, Juan Martin Del Potro and Denis Shapovalov.
