Prajnesh knocked out of Bangkok challenger

This was the second loss in the semifinals of a Challenger this season for Prajnesh.

James Duckworth of Australia tamed top seed and India's top-ranked player Prajnesh Gunneswaran 7-6(2), 3-6, 7-6(3) in the semifinals of the Bangkok Challenger on Saturday.

It was the second loss in the semifinals of a Challenger for 97th ranked Prajnesh this season, after the one at home in Chennai. Incidentally, he had beaten James Duckworth comfortably in the quarterfinals of the Chennai Challenger, taking the match in straight sets.

The semifinal appearance fetched him 29 ATP points and $2,510.
