Wimbledon, Day 6: Winners and losers

Results from Day 6 at the Wimbledon Championships where Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer will be in action.

"I'm delighted with the performance today. I thought I raised the level of tennis," said Djokovic, after making the second week without dropping a set.

Federer brushes away Zverev Swiss maestro Roger Federer was at his best as he brushed away Mischa Zverev in a 7-6, 6-4, 6-4 straight-set victory over the German. Third seed Federer bids for his eighth Wimbledon title and will take on 13th seeded Grigor Dimitrov in the fourth round. Djokovic cruises through Three-time Wimbledon champion, Novak Djokovic reached the Wimbledon fourth round for the 10th time on Saturday, with a 6-4, 6-1, 7-6 (2) victory over Ernests Gulbis

After having an average by his standards, Djokovic will want to redeem himself by winning the tourney. He will play France's Adrian Mannarino in the round of 16, for a place in the quarter-finals. Berdych makes it to last four Tomas Berdych hit 35 winners and made multiple trips to the net in his 6-3 6-4 6-3 win over Spaniard David Ferrer in the third round, on Saturday.

The 2010 runner-up will make his ninth appearance in the last 16.

Sascha Zverev to face Raonic Tenth seed Alexander Zverev beat Austrian qualifier Sebastian Ofner 6-4 6-4 6-2 to reach his first ever last 16 appearance at a Grand Slam.

The 20-year-old will meet last year's finalist Milos Raonic in the fourth round. Raonic battles past Vinolas Sixth seed Canadian Milos Raonic dug deep to defeat Albert Ramos-Vinolas 7-6, 6-4, 7-5 in a hard-fought win.

The big-serving Raonic will look to make his third appearance in the Wimbledon round of 16, in what is his seventh consecutive appearance here.

In order to retain top spot in the WTA rankings, Kerber will have to feature in this year’s Wimbledon final, after losing the title match against Serena Williams last year.

Kerber survives Rogers scare Angelique Kerber was on the brink of losing her number one ranking on Saturday, before staging a brilliant comeback in a tense 4-6, 7-6 (7/2), 6-4 victory over Shelby Rogers.

She will face Garbine Muguruza, another former Wimbledon runner-up, for a place in the quarterfinals. Radwanska stages comeback Ninth seed Agnieszka Radwanska came back from a set down to defeat Timea Bacsinszky 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 in the third round.

A former finalist here, Radwanska will face seventh seed Svetlana Kuznetsova in her sixth consecutive last 16 apearance.

Querrey-Tsonga match lasts one game It took only one game for Sam Querrey to break Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and win the deciding set today after both players agreed to suspend play due to bad light yesterday. The final score was 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (7-5), 1-6, 7-5.

Querrey will face giant Kevin Anderson in the fourth round.

Dimitrov sails past Sela Grigor Dimitrov had his work cut out as Dudi Sela was forced to pull out due to a thigh injury. Thirteenth seeded Dimitrov is through to the last 16, after his 6-1, 6-1 win.

Sela's retirement marks the 11th one in this year's championship.

Rybarikova advances with brilliant net play Magdalena Rybarikova advanced to the fourth round as she defeated Ukraine's Lesia Tsurenko 6-2 6-1 in the third round. Ryabarikova was brilliant at the net and won 13 points in as many attempts at the net.

She will look to continue her fine run after she sent third seed Karolina Pliskova packing in their second round encounter.

Kuznetsova storms into last 16 Seventh seed Svetlana Kuznetsova stormed into the last 16 with a 6-4, 6-0 humbling of unheralded Slovenian, Polona Hercog in their third round encounter. Muguruza through Garbine Muguruza enjoyed a comfortable 6-2, 6-2 victory over Romania's Sorana Cirstea to make it to the fourth round of Wimbledon.

Muguruza, the 2015 runner-up, is yet to drop a set this year and is making only her second appearance in the last 16.
