I would have refused call-up if it broke Shilton's record - Rooney

Wayne Rooney has defended his farewell England appearance and insists he would not have played if it meant breaking Shilton’s record. Shilton is the nation's most capped player with 125 appearances and the friendly against the United States will be Rooney's 120th appearance for the country.
