Berlin Archery World Cup: Men's recurve team places third in qualification

The Indian men's recurve team scored 1924 to claim the third spot in the qualification round of the Archery World Cup being held in Berlin.

India’s Atanu Das (in picture) and his teammates Atul Verma and Pravin Ramesh Jadhav will next Canada in the first round of the berlin Archery World Cup.

The Indian men's recurve team of Atul Verma, Atanu Das and Pravin Ramesh Jadhav scored 1924 in qualification to finish third, and will face Canada in first round of the fourth stage of the Archery World Cup in Berlin on July 4.

The event, which is one of the last major open tournaments of the year, will see up to four winners qualifying for September's Archery World Cup Finals that will be held in Moscow.

The women's recurve team consisting Deepika Kumari, Bombayla Devi Laishram and Madhu Vedwan scored 1854 in qualification to finish fifth and will take on Turkey in first round. The mixed team recurve  of Bombayla Devi Laishram and Atul Verma score 1268 in qualification and will face Russia in the second round match on 5th.
