Stephen Curry buried a 33-foot 3-pointer with 2.5 seconds left and the Golden State Warriors survived a chaotic finish to defeat the Phoenix Suns 113-112 on Saturday night in San Francisco.
Curry finished with 30 points to lead the Warriors, who won their fourth in a row. He went 9-for-16 from beyond the arc, helping the hosts outscore the Suns 51-33 from deep. Gary Payton II, returning from a 16-game absence due to a hamstring injury, made all five of his shots and contributed 11 points, one block and a steal to the win.
Devin Booker finished with a game-high 32 points for the Suns, who had won three straight. Kevin Durant had a 24-point, 10-rebound double-double for Phoenix, while Bradley Beal added 15 points and two steals.
Nets 123, Spurs 103
Dennis Schroder collected 15 points and 12 assists in an effective debut for his new team as Brooklyn pulled away late in the second half for a victory over San Antonio in New York.
Cam Thomas led six players in double figures, scoring 12 of his 25 in the third quarter, as the Nets stopped a three-game losing streak and won for the eighth time in 29 games.
Nic Claxton added 20 points and 11 rebounds while also sharing the duty of defending San Antonio rookie Victor Wembanyama, who scored 21 points but was held to four rebounds and shot 7 of 16 in 29 minutes. Keldon Johnson added 19 points and Devin Vassell contributed 17 for the Spurs, who shot 39.6 percent and suffered their fourth straight double-digit loss in their seven-game skid.
Clippers 112, Pistons 106
Paul George scored 33 points and Kawhi Leonard added 24 as host Los Angeles rebounded from a rare defeat by rallying to beat new-look Detroit.
James Harden scored 14 points and Russell Westbrook added 13 as the Clippers turned a 13-point third-quarter deficit into their fifth victory over their last six games while improving to 20-5 at home. The win came two days after a loss to the New Orleans Pelicans, just the fourth time Los Angeles fell in 22 games.
Jaden Ivey scored 23 points for the Pistons, Cade Cunningham added 22 and Simone Fontecchio added 20 in his Detroit debut after he was acquired Thursday in a trade with the Utah Jazz. Troy Brown Jr. (eight points) and Shake Milton (four points) also made their Pistons debuts after a roster shake-up this week.

Luka Doncic had 32 points, nine assists and eight rebounds as new-look Dallas beat visiting Oklahoma City.
Dallas newcomers Daniel Gafford and P.J. Washington, acquired in separate trade-deadline deals on Thursday, combined for 33 points as the Mavericks tied their season high with four consecutive wins.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 25 points, Cason Wallace added 15 off the bench and Chet Holmgren had 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Dejounte Murray scored a game-high 34 points, leading Atlanta to a win over visiting Houston.
Saddiq Bey added 24 points for Atlanta, which won its second straight game and is 6-2 in its past eight. Jalen Johnson scored 21 points, Trae Young had 18 points and eight assists and Onyeka Okongwu collected 11 points and seven rebounds.
Jalen Green’s triple-double (26 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists) led Houston, which dropped its fourth straight. Jeff Green scored 19 points, followed by Aaron Holiday’s 18 off the bench.
Pelicans 93, Trail Blazers 84
Trey Murphy III scored 24 points to help New Orleans post a victory over host Portland.
Brandon Ingram added 17 points and nine assists and Jonas Valanciunas had 16 points and nine rebounds for the Pelicans, who won for the fifth time in six games. New Orleans played without forward Zion Williamson (foot) on the second end of a road back-to-back set.
Jerami Grant scored 24 points and Deandre Ayton recorded 18 points and 17 rebounds for Portland. Dalano Banton added 12 points off the bench in his team debut for the Trail Blazers, who lost their fourth straight game.
Cavaliers 119, Raptors 95
Jarrett Allen had 18 points and 15 rebounds as visiting Cleveland defeated Toronto.
Donovan Mitchell added 15 points for the Cavaliers, who have won nine games in a row and 17 of their past 18. Evan Mobley supplied 17 points and 11 rebounds, Max Strus scored 14 points and Caris LeVert and Georges Niang each contributed 13 points.
Scottie Barnes recorded his third triple-double of the season with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for the Raptors, who had won their previous two games. RJ Barrett and Gradey Dick added 14 points apiece, and Immanuel Quickley scored 10.
Pacers 125, Knicks 111
Tyrese Haliburton posted another double-double with 22 points and 12 assists for visiting Indiana, which pulled away in the second half to beat undermanned New York.
The double-double was the 29th of the season for Haliburton, who bounced back from scoring just five points in Thursday’s 131-109 loss to the Golden State Warriors. Myles Turner scored a team-high 23 points for the Pacers, who have won three of four. Pascal Siakam had 19 points while T.J. McConnell added 16 points off the bench.
Jalen Brunson returned from a one-game absence due to a sprained right ankle and scored 39 points for the Knicks, who have lost three of four after a nine-game winning streak.
Hornets 115, Grizzlies 106
Miles Bridges scored 25 points and largely new-look Charlotte snapped a 10-game losing streak by defeating visiting Memphis.
Brandon Miller and newcomer Vasilije Micic both scored 18 points, while Grant Williams had 15 points and a team-high eight rebounds in his first game with the Hornets. Nick Richards added 13 points.
Jaren Jackson Jr. pumped in 29 points for Memphis, but the Grizzlies suffered their eighth loss in a row. GG Jackson added 16 points and Vince Williams Jr. had 14 points.
76ers 119, Wizards 113
Tyrese Maxey scored 28 points and Buddy Hield added 23 as short-handed Philadelphia snapped a four-game losing streak, beating host Washington.
Ricky Council IV recorded career highs with 19 points and 10 rebounds off the bench for Philadelphia, which led by as many as 15 in the third quarter and completed a four-game sweep of the season series with the Wizards. Kelly Oubre Jr. had 16 points, Paul Reed scored 12 and Tobias Harris added 11.
Tyus Jones had a career-high six 3-pointers and finished with a season-high 25 points for Washington, which lost its sixth straight. Deni Avdija had 21 points and 13 rebounds, Kyle Kuzma also scored 21 points, Bilal Coulibaly added 13 and Jordan Poole finished with 11.
Magic 114, Bulls 108 (OT)
Franz Wagner gave his team the lead for good on the first possession of overtime as part of a 36-point performance and host Orlando used superior depth to outlast Chicago in a duel of Eastern Conference playoff contenders.
Cole Anthony’s double-double consisted of 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Paolo Banchero finished with 19 points and a game-high eight assists. Jalen Suggs had 13 points and Jonathan Isaac a team-high 12 rebounds to complement seven points and three blocks.
DeMar DeRozan had a team-high 28 points and Nikola Vucevic a 26-point, 17-rebound double-double for Chicago, which entered the contest on a two-game winning streak.
