B. Adhiban continued to impress by holding leader Wesley So to a 39-move draw in the sixth round of Tata Steel Masters chess tournament here on Friday.

Playing from white side of Kings Bishops Gambit, Adhiban proved equal to the in-from So without ever looking in any danger. Draw was agreed with the players were left with a rook, a bishop and two pawns each; The result kept So in the lead with 4.5 points and raised Adhiban’s tally to 2.5.
