Sunil Gavaskar On The Write Line

Sunil Gavaskar is one of the greatest openers of all time and the first batsman in history to surpass 10,000 runs in Test cricket. He also held the record for the most number of Test centuries (34) before Sachin Tendulkar overtook him. A former India captain, he was known for his technique against fast bowling. A recipient of the Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awards for his contribution to Indian cricket, he is a popular TV commentator now.
