. Riding largely on opener Mayank Agarwal's 304 not out , Karnataka posted a massive 628 for five declared against Maharashtra at the Maharashtra Cricket Stadium. R. Samarth and Karun Nair also scored hundreds. Batting a second time, with the daunting task of batting out four sessions to save the match, the host went to tea at 49 for two, trailing by 334 runs.
. It was Karnataka's morning once again.
Or rather, it was Mayank Agarwal and Karun Nair's morning. Nair has moved on to his hundred; he is the third centurion in the innings. Agarwal is not far far away from a triple hundred. He is batting on 280, while Nair is on 116, as the visiting side took lunch at 588 for two, that's a lead of 343. The third-wicket stand is so far worth 269 runs. [ Day Two report ]

At stumps on Day Three, Odisha, at 93 for 4 in its second innings, needs 320 more runs to defeat Mumbai.

. Siddhesh Lad's superlative hundred has helped Mumbai set Odisha a gargantuan target of 413 runs. In the last over of the extended second session, left-arm spinner Vijay Gohil got a lucky breakthrough, thanks to umpire K. Srinivasan's error. Odisha 13 for 1 at tea.
. Siddhesh Lad's unbeaten fifty has taken Mumbai to near-safety. At 153 for seven at lunch and with all-rounder Akash Parkar at the other end, Mumbai can certainly hope to add a few more runs.
. The first hour has belonged to Odisha. The pace duo of Suryakant Pradhan and Biplab Samantray have got rid of overnight unbeaten batsmen Dhawal Kulkarni and Suryakumar Yadav along with captain Aditya Tare. At 91 for six, Mumbai still hold the edge, with a lead of 235. [ Day Two report ]

. MP was in dire straits, reeling at 44 for four in 19 overs of its second innings, after conceding a 55-run first innings lead to Andhra.
. D.B. Ravi Teja (58, 4 x 4) and Ashwin Hebbar (77, 8 x 4, 1 x 6) enabled Andhra take the first innings lead against Madhya Pradesh after lunch on the third day of their Ranji Trophy group C match . The host was on 337 for seven after 106 overs.
. Ashwin Hebbar recorded his half century with his fifth boundary helping Andhra recoup to 272 for five in 87 overs, still 49 short of MP's first innings total of 321. [ Day Two report ]

. Himachal Pradesh was on 207 for two in 58 overs in its second innings when the stumps were drawn for day three in the Rani Trophy Group D match at the Eden Gardens. Priyanshu Khanduri (67 batting) and Nikhil Gangta (43 batting) were at the crease.
. Himachal was on 129 for two in 38 overs at the tea break on the third day of the Ranji Trophy match against Bengal. Prashant Chopra (81 off 103 balls, 8x4) and Priyanshu Khanduri (47 batting, 111b, 5x4, 1x6) gave Himachal a good start in its second essay.
