The India-Pakistan rivalry will resume with another chapter during the Asia Cup  2022 tournament in Dubai on Sunday.

India and Pakistan have met 200 times in international cricket across formats, the last of which was played in the T20 World Cup in 2021 at the same venue. Pakistan leads the head-to-head count with 87 wins while India has won 71 matches and drawn 38.

Pakistan enjoys a much better head-to-head ratio against its archrival in the United Arab Emirates as well. Out of the 29 matches played (ODIs, Tests and T20Is combined), Pakistan has won a whopping 20. 24 of these matches were played in Sharjah, two in Abu Dhabi and three in Dubai.
