Ishant Sharma ran through Bangladesh's top order in the second innings.

GONE. There it is: a five-for for Umesh and an innings win for India. It's seventh consecutive Test win and fourth successive innings win... What a comprehensive victory this. Al-Amin the final wicket to fall.. Mahmudullah didn't bat as Bangladesh folded for 195.

Abu Jayed joins Al-Amin.

GONE! Mushfiqur perishes. Just the wicket India wanted. Umesh Yadav bags his second wicket of the day. India now just two wickets away from a series win.

BAN 184/8.

Ravindra Jadeja has been brought into the attack and Mushfiqur greets him with a brace of boundaries : one reverse sweep and another conventional sweep. Mushfiqur's nearing a hundred: this has been a mighty brave knock. BAN 184/7.

Plenty of talk on air about the texture and visibility of the pink ball. Sanjay Manjrekar reckons visibility isn't a huge factor, it's the extra pace off the pitch that has troubled the batsmen. The pink ball's glossier, apparently doesn't require shining. Mushfiqur Rahim meanwhile is playing an inning of the highest pedigree, striking at 75. He is batting on 66 off 88 balls. BAN 167/7.

GONE! One down, three more to go. Umesh Yadav strikes with the first ball of his second over, Kohli pouching a simple chance at gully to get rid of Hossain. BAN 152/7. Still no signs of Mahmudullah as Al-Amin walks out.

Mushfiqur and Ebadat have to bide their time in the middle. Umesh and Ishant are sharing the new ball duties today. Ishan't one short of a match haul of 10 wickets. Indian pacers have utterly dominated the bowling front for the host: In the last series vs South Africa, pacers took 61 to spinners' eight, just eight! What a turnaround. Meanwhile: BAN 152/6.

Out come the two umpires. How long will this game go on? India needs four wickets to complete yet another series sweep at home. Umesh Yadav with the new ball. Micah Richards, former Manchester City player, rings the bell. Ebadat Hossain and Mushfiqur Rahim will resume proceedings.

Pitch report: "The pitch is not going to make the slightest of difference to this Bangladesh team. India showed great application with the bat and that's why they were able to counter the movement off the seam. The pitch is very hard and is still very good to bat on," says Sunil Gavaskar.

A packed Eden Gardens on Saturday, Ishant Sharma runs in and picks Shadman Islam with the delivery that he has mastered — the one that looks like swinging away but keeps straight.
