Sunday's second match is the battle between two of the most consistent teams of the tenth edition of the Indian Premier League. Leading both the sides have been their captains — David Warner for the Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gautam Gambhir for Kolkata Knight Riders.

The defending champion has an ably and strong captain in Warner. Warner has unswervingly performed in each match. In the last match against Kings XI Punjab, Warner's opening partnership with Shikhar Dhawan was the cornerstone of a massive total. Warner has an average of 55.50 from the eight matches he has played so far in IPL 2017. He has scored three half-centuries, with a highest of unbeaten 76.

However, consistency is a word synonymous with Gambhir also. In this year's IPL, Gambhir, like Warner, has led the Kolkata Knight Riders' batting from the front. He has scored 70-plus thrice and in all three occasions he was unbeaten. Moreover, Gambhir, along with Robin Uthappa, has steered the KKR batting out of danger twice in the last two matches.

When the two teams clash on Sunday night, it will not just be a battle between two of the fiercest captains in the IPL, but also two of the most dependable batsmen.
