Italy midfielder Jorginho went to the ground after suffering a minor injury during the European Championship final against England. However, it wasn't serious and he was able to continue playing.

England fans were buzzing both inside and outside the Wembley Stadium in London as their team took an early lead against the Italians in the summit clash of the Euros.

Italy manager Roberto Mancini and his English counterpart Gareth Southgate look on anxiously from the sidelines as the UEFA EURO 2020 Final is in progress.

England forward Raheem Sterling went down inside the Italian penalty box after being surrounded by the experienced defensive duo of Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini. But the referee didn't award a spot-kick to the home team at Wembley even after VAR consultation.

Leonardo Bonucci scored the equaliser for Italy in the 67th minute of the EURO 2020 final against England. The goal came from a rebound during an Italian corner.

Both Italy and England had a few chances to find the winner in extra time but they couldn't convert them as the Final headed into a penalty shootout after 120 minutes of intense action.
