Stenson won his first major at Royal Troon last month and is the favourite for the gold meda - the world number five is the highest-ranked player in the field after the high-profile withdrawals of Jason Day, Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth.

The other reigning major champion in the field, Great Britain's Masters winner Danny Willett, will go out with American Matt Kuchar and Li Haotong of China.
