UP Yoddha is seventh with 37 points and a win will take it up to fifth on the points table, while Gujarat, currently eighth, will propel itself to sixth with a victory.
The second match pits the bottom two teams - Tamil Thalaivas and Patna Pirates - which are desperate for a win. Thalaivas can move up to ninth with a win tonight, while bottom-placed Patna will cut the gap between itself and Thalaivas to two points should it secure a win.
