IDEMITSU Honda's Rajiv Sethu notched his third win in a row in the Pro-Stock 165cc class and Sparks Racing's Rahil Shetty (Sparks Racing) held his nerve to pull off a stunning win on the second day of the MRF MMSC FMSCI Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship in Chennai.
Making gains over their first row start in Pro-Stock 165 and Pro-Stock 201—300 class, IDEMITSU Honda India Racing team riders added 5 more podiums to the team’s kitty on Saturday.
The PS 165 race saw a thrilling end with the top three riders separated by less than a second's gap. For the third consecutive time, Honda's Asia Road Racing Championship rider, Sethu, capitalised on his first position start on the grid.

In lap three, Sethu briefly relinquished his lead to Jagan but a composed show from him ensured he waited for the right chance to get a break through. This came in the 6th lap when a quick maneuver ensured that he was the first to cross the chequered flag in just over 12 minutes.
Sarath Kumar, Sethu's Honda teammate made it a double podium for the team, finishing third with a total time of 12:02:833, keeping the team's dominant run intact.
Also starring for Honda in the National Championship were Bengaluru-based Anish Shetty, who led a podium sweep for the team in the in the Pro-Stock 201-300cc category while Venkatesan brought home top honours in the Stock 165cc race. Today’s win took Anish’s tally to 65 in the championship, well ahead of Mathan Kumar of Erula Racing (47) and Vasudev (45).
