Norway's Karsten Warholm smashed his own world record on Tuesday to win the Olympic men's 400 metres hurdles gold at the Tokyo Olympics.

Simone Biles, who had missed all individual events to focus on her mental health, finally competed in the women's balance beam final and won the bronze medal.
